This is what we toil suffer and curse for Mags 😅 absolutely awesome fresh food. It’s 32c here today 🥵, but gives me time to catch up. Have an awesome weekend, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
Hello Mags, what a lovely wholesome video, lots of lovely things harvested and lots more planted which is always nice. I have got some more lettuce and some courgettes to harvest. I can’t wait to harvest my garlic but still waiting as I know it’s not ready yet. Finally my onions that I sowed from seed are starting to bulk up. Also I think I might have turned a corner with the slugs, seen so many hedgehogs this week so I have had a helping hand 😁

Great rhubarb. I'm growing chard- ford hook giant, love the flavor. The bunnies chomped them down to nubs.....but thankfully we'll be getting a harvest shortly. Today I harvested soft neck garlic, beets, carrots and lettuce ....mostly to create some airflow as it's getting to that point in the season. It won't be long before there will be steady harvests.
Hiya Robin. I have some Fordhook chard sown and just sprouting. I noticed one or two bunnies in the garden recently. I’m hoping the protection I use for the chickens will stop the bunnies too. That will become apparent 🥴
@@mycountrygardenchannel I sure hope so too. Stinkers have been soooo destructive this year, not to mention expensive with all the protection I've purchased.
what a lovely harvest ❤ and the chickens still make me smile 😃
Thank you 😊
Brilliant Mags - best time of the year!
It is indeed Steve.

Thanks Amir. You are certainly coming on with your harvests too. Your garlic looks great. I’m happy enough and there is lots more to come. 😊

Hi Hulya. The plant is called rhubarb and the sticks are edible. Usually people cook it with some sugar and it is a sweet dessert.
Great rhubarb.
