My Dad had an NSU Prinz, the later body style. I've always been fascinated by this little car, with it's air cooled verticle twin engine in the rear. It was gone before I was born, but he talked about it a lot. It would occasionally blow one cylinder, and he would drive it for a couple of days til he got the chance to swap it out. He just backed up under a tree, tossed a rope over a limb, hauled one out, and dropped another one in it's place. My Mom's cousin was following him down the highway one day in his Stingray Corvette, and he said that little car was buzzing down the road at 70 mph like it was nothing. The Prinz was the only air cooled rear engined vehicle he owned, because when I was in high school in the late 80s, he had a VW Transporter with fuel injection and an auto trans. (FANCY! LOL)

Wow that's a find
Neat little car! I think it would fit in the trunk of a classic Lincoln or Cadillac or in the cargo area of a Diamler Estate Wagon?
Haha not quite but it is tiny!
