As a beginner FPV guy, Im glad people like those in the FPV community exists. Specially online. Finding info like this is incredibly valuable.
Throttle Mid for a cinelog 35 6s with goPro 10 and standard motors is at 39. With no Gopro it's at around 20. More thrust will of course lowers that number.
And different bigger batteries can add a kick of throttle .
Throttle mid around “hover”. Is what he should be looking for. But just get rid of it and practice practice practice!
Do it in the controller
Don't do it with gps
Which is better? Doing this in betaflight or setting up a throttle curve in my boxer?
Betaflight.
Finally going to play around with these settings, after my first crash when I broke the window my new jb drone started working well, I fixed the problem, had the motors reversed setting clicked, now im going to try to adjust the throttle because its just too fast for me to land carefully and ive had to do some repairs. Can’t figure out how to protect the receiver antennas so I just bought some spares because ive lost 3 antennas sofar and bought 2 receivers. Too bad I didnt spend more on my transmitter because I can’t find anyone selling accst receivers that aren’t ipex v4 which are smaller and more expensive than the standard ones. Also solved my video problem by reading the user manual for my goggles again. With everything working i was able to do a couple tricks on Monday, now I want to start tuning.
What receiver are you using you may be able to use a JXT modula if you’re running d16 or d8
bro what if when I’m blipping up and drop my throttle say when I’m doing a dive. I drop my throttle to initiate my dive. I’ll be zero throttle to start the dive but it continues to accelerate, its just for a second or two making it hard to cleanly line up anything. same with when I’m coming out of my dive, when I go throttle up it’s like when I move my throttle gimbal it’s taking my motors a second to catch up with the actual stick input. Weather it’s raising my throttle or lowering it. eventually it catches up but it just doesn’t sound or feel right I’m very new lol but even to a newb this just doesn’t seem correct. I’ve limited my throttle to 75% would this maybe be the issue or could it be my controller or maybe like my packet rate or something lol it’s just causing me to have a shit flight. And if you could help me brother that would awesome. If you need more detail or I didn’t explain something enough please tell me. Its hard to explain without you physically feeling the lag in real time lol.
Hi, did you solve your problem?
Hey guys I'm brand new to the fpv Drone stuff and betaflight. Would really appreciate it with some help on tuning my drone. Need help making it more Snappy and the remote more responsive
How do you "record" your hover point though ? Say my hover is at 37% on the travel of the throttle stick, is there clever a way to measure that ?
Maybe using throttle position on OSD would help. This would show you the value of the throttle.
Does curve throttle make the battery run out faster? Especially if the throttle curve settings are made steeper up in the early rounds.. thank you for your explain..

Thank you, Good Sir, for these contents, It's been my go-to guide while I'm learning the in's and out's of the hobby! Much love from the Philippines!
When I try to arm my quad it says throttle. Any help please ? Thank you
I love the clips. Thank you
I'm always thrilled to see a post from you on every topic. Thank you for that😊
What about in the tx controller ? You can add more expo on top of betaflight curve and expo ? Or lower the max throttle to for cinemaxtic whoop ?
I'm flying a drone now instead of a bottle rocket! TY JB.
Pretty interesting indeed!
i am loving zing 2 more and more the ore i hear about them.....
Should I trim my transmitter or my accelerometer? I want to fly indoors and out doors. I have a feeling that trimming with the transmitter will cause issues when I am flying outside. Appreciate the help
Trim is not useful for quads. You might want to fly in angle mode inside, in which case you need to make sure your accelerometer is calibrated.
Thank you for your help
My friend did this he said it helps him but I like a nice straight line
Yeah . Like cars and pickups might have power brakes that touch an eighth of an inch or a spring loaded giant knee bending gangling noise brake pedal but you just get in and drive and never notice .
I don't know if your video topic covers my question. My props spin when I arm. I did turn on not to spin when armed. I apply full throttle, but when I reduce to zero, motors stay in full throttle. Is there a betaflight setting?
i have similar problem. solve raising dynamic idle. must be over 20 and no problem
Did it work ? Same prob here.
@juanmanuelamado7732 put air mode on a switch. If air mode is on the props will spin no matter what. If air mode is off and you have don't spin checked they won't spin. Air mode on a switch is great for landing, no bounce with air mode off when you touch the ground. But in flight you can stop the motors and drop like a rock.
