I’m literally going thru this right now. So on Dec 31st I’m packing my ish while he’s gone to work I’m changing my number. Blocking the cash app, emails and I already have a whole new townhouse. I’m WAY too nice, loyal and kind for someone like him. As a 42 year old woman, with no kids, no trauma, an awesome dad and friends who aren’t toxic and love me…I deserve more. It took me 35 years to realize my parents didn’t love me. I’ve never done anything to hurt them, I protected them and made excuses for them. I decided not to accept the excuse for love they wanna give me. Love shouldn’t hurt. Live shouldn’t be angry or selfish. My mom excuses my dads “love” and is too weak to stand up for me or herself. I figured out that me, being chosen attracts narcissists. They used God and the Bible at a tool to manipulate their children. A month before breaking up asked me to believe his love for me and our family. Not even two weeks before breaking up he said he wanted to get me a better engagement ring. He verbally, emotionally & mentally abuses me. I've walked away so many times & he keeps coming back with excuses that he's depressed because of his job, and thats why he goes off on me.
