This was the seventh show that Metallica performed in 2012.
This was the seventh show celebrating 20 Years of The Black Album.
This was the 10th time that Metallica performed in Lisbon.
Metallica first performed in Lisbon on June 16, 1993 at Alvalade Stadium during the tail end of the mammoth tour behind The Black Album.
Metallica last played in Lisbon in 2010. They played two back to back dates on May 18 and May 19 at Pavilhao Atlantico.
This was the first time in eight years that "Hit the Lights" was performed in Lisbon. It was last played here on June 4, 2004.
This was the first time that "Hell and Back", "The Struggle Within", "My Friend of Misery", "The God That Failed", and "Don't Tread on Me" were played in Lisbon.
This was the first time in almost 13 years that "Of Wolf and Man" was played in Lisbon. It was last performed here on July 16, 1999
Metallica performed 20 songs off of six albums and one EP: Kill 'Em All (2), Ride the Lightning (2), Master of Puppets (1), ...And Justice for All (1), The Black Album (12), ReLoad (1), Beyond Magnetic (1)

The sound was amazing on the concert. But this is a video from live TV, and not from the metallica crew that we are used to. There is no proper video of this concert. Its a shame.

i hope they fired the sound crew on this concert.. so bad i feel for the boys..bad sound engineer's cand destroy a great show, unfortunately. Still sounded great though... i can be a bit critical but i love the boys :) always have
