Again another great video. I have a question tho. Most of my clients want a glam look...They don't care that it will probably fall off or break their natural lash they just want the glam look. They want 13mm and 14mm maybeneven 15mm on the outer corners for a more dramatic and cat eye look. I try to explain to them that their natural lash may not support that length but they still choose that look. What do you suggest???
Glam is not about the length but rather about the volume. If you're u offer volume lashes that's the best way to create a glamorous look.

If they are adamant they want that - then try the flat lashes as per one of my videos - but with longer length you must decrease the thickness of the lash to now balance or counteract the weight. There are some girls that can pull that off but not that many and on the outer lashes they will droop. but S cole is correct re the volume - if they want full keep short, if they want long they will look like spiders!
Lol. Yes. Thanks so Much ladies. I did take down the thickness to balance out the length. I also need to learn how to do Volume. I was instructed by a few other lash artist that because I am new to lashing that I should wait a while before doing volume. But is this true??? I started lashing on April 9th. I have about 27 clients and 20 that were returning clients. I do this on the side but I am eventually plan to do this full time. I find with my clients that they are looking for both length and volume. So I am trying to find a happy medium between the two.
if you feel confident they why not start training in it, but please make sure you find a good trainer, research her/him and be prepared to travel

OMG I love these tutorials they are so helping. I took a certification course about 2 weeks ago. I am working on my flat head before taking my first client. How do you know when you are ready to take your first one. I mean my trainer is awesome. I guess I am just a little nervous. Tramaine Foye that is amazing that you have 27 clients already.
I started with my best friends and sisters just in case I messed up they didn't care. It is A LOT different than the mannequin.

I'm asian chinese with short 4-6mm lashes. I think 6 mm is being kind! I honestly don't like long lashes. Generally they start with 12 mm for me but I actually ask for 8-9mm and maybe one or two 10mm at the ends. I find that 8-9mm works for me but I'm a rarity; apparently most other ladies want the 12-15mm! Also my eyes are not that big so it looks odd if I use very long ones! I do have a friend who has a genetic trait in her Italian family where everyone has 20-25mm lashes... they're so long they hang down like hair!

I just got my lashes done and I can tell lash artist had no idea what she was doing. She Gave my 15mm all over. ALL OVER!!! They touch my brows. They also said I had to wait to take them off. Also she only did lashes in the middle of my eyes. Not in the inner corner or outer area. I looked like a doll that you pull of the lashes. Then they added more all the same length. Not I just look extreme. 😭😭

So if you are only going 2 mm long on the natural lash, what is the weight of the extension you are using? I use primarily a .15. In my training I was told you could go up to double the length and nothing on any lash shorter than 4 mm. And using a .18 we could go up to 4 mm longer. what is your feed back on this?

yes you can do at the same apt, just make sure you cleanse it off really well. You actually get amazing retention out of it, because tint "raises" the cuticle of the hair!

What about clients who naturally have a 12? Would you then go to 14 in the middle part where their lashes are longest?
yes, if they have long lashes then you can go longer on them as their lashes can support.

Hi there. I love a very long lash about a 13 or 14 but sometimes I feel they close my eyes in a bit. Could it be the lenght that is causing this?
So just to be sure match the extension length with the clients natural length? If so, does this apply to making fans as well to match their natural lash length.
