With the very curly natural lashes you generally need to attach to the underneath of it to get a good bond and a chance of good uniformity. It would be very difficult for me to do a video on this with a model with lashes like this as the clientele in my local area are more mature ladies with very fine, sparse and straight natural lashes.
But then you would add some shorter ones in amongst those at the end to add volume, is that right? Thank you for your help, I've just binge watched all your videos as a fairly new lash technician

this is lash rehab, so a break from them and use of a lash serum such as revitilash for at least 6 weeks before any improvement is seen - then very lightweight lash extensions to start off with to build those lashes back to full strength.
Hi Frankie! What if their inner corner is a 10!? Ive gotten some long natural lashes in my work, alot of ppl are on lash serums. Is this just a guide line? Meaning if her inner is a 10 Id do 10,11, possibly a 12 on the inner 3 zones and then 12 in the small zone before 13s as her longest length then taper back down to 10?? Thank you!
Yes, you would match the inner corner length so on that client inners would be a 10 - but with inners and into the middle, still don't be tempted to go too much longer as the lashes could touch the brow and then distort the face - so if the client has naturally long lashes you would across the whole eye be careful not to extend too much and instead match otherwise too long of a length can just look strange!
The lengths you write on your lash map will depend on what lengths you have assessed to use on your client. So for example I advise to match the length only on the inners and outers, then you would assess what the longest length is you are going to use, so the maximum you extend to a natural lash is 3mm. So if the longest natural lashes were a 9mm then you would extend to a maximum of 12mm. I advice never to go over a 12mm as the extensions then start to twist and can look to extreme. The lash mapping you have will depend on what style you are doing on your client, for example if you are putting the length over the middle of the eye that is where you would draw your longest length zone on your map. Hope this helps and answers your question :)
Thanks. I have no problem with my right hand applying the lashes to the base. But my left hand ... shakes ... where spreading the lashes to apply the lash extension can be a bit difficult.

yes go through and lash the anagen lashes that can support a short extensions using a shorter length such as 7/8mm
