Well this must be the best video I've seen on low priced Chinese 4K cameras. For two main reasons. 1. You didn't take us on a anti cheap Chinese camera rant. 2. Plus you actually held the camera steady so we could see for our selves.
This video is so helpful I can’t thank you enough! I was going to buy this product but I dislike the jumping of the camera when you zoom in and out since I’m using this for filmmaking. Thank you for the review this video is amazing and so helpful!
Thanks for the review. I have a similar one. These are by no means perfect, but for someone like me, who will eventually be filming from multiple angles, and therefore I will need several for a lot of my static videos (using the remote to control them), it's not too bad and will keep the cost of filming down.
@@padremerryn666 the focus is usually fixed on camcorders like this. They usually work best from 1 metre to infinity. The minimum focal distance is usually around 1 metre. Anything closer and everything will be blurred. Hope this information helps.
I have a similar camcorder and I am very happy with it bro, I do have my other DSLR Canon and Sony cameras as well as my Powershot Canon cameras, but I do love this little camera if you know how to handle it and they are very useful, don't knock them down, the only issue I have with it, is when you zoom in and out it tends to get a little jerky and choppy. Other than that, I am very impressed with the image quality and video quality as well, I use it a lot, and I use my smartphones occasionally. I have compared the image quality with my smartphones and my other cameras quite frankly it's not all that different in some modes and tests. It's all down to filming light conditions and settings. For Smartphones, you can use them for very short videos, but for long streams or videos, you will definitely need one of these if you can't afford the other big cameras. Incidentally, you have a very nice face, you look and sound genuine. Thanks for the video bro.
Is there a way I can add a different microphone on it because I have one that clips on to my shirt. Because I was going to film myself a music video because I been trying to get good at rapping.
I've used video cameras for years. That cameras video looks like something that you'd get with an average security camera. To me a labeled 4k toy in a McDonald's happy meal. Only good for maybe set up as a security camera.
Great Video, Being a complete newby having just purchased a similar camcorder from Amazon, and just taken it out of the box, I found your video very helpful for a 74 year old. Thanks 🐝🐝
I'm seriously considering getting a Digital Video Camera to start making UA-cam Videos for My UA-cam Channel. The main thing that I don't like about this Digital Video Camera that you've tested was that when one starts either zooming in or out, the video tends to 'jerk jump in and out' (a term that I'd use). It doesn't have a smooth in or out flow. That's a major downside that would not spending the money for it. I'd rather spend money getting a "Canon" Digital Video Camera.
I got this camcorder for $119 on Amazon prime day. I mainly want it for a separate video Angel while going live on UA-cam. I’ll use my phone to do the main recording but I th oh get it would be cool to still have a camera on me so I can switch back and forth. (Without having to remove my phone from the tripod and attach it to a different tripod. So the video this one took seems ok. I’m trying to get mine to reheated the sd card. So far it keeps saying it’s not detected. I’ll try a different card if I can find it.
What is the max size of the sd card it will hold? Is there a limit to the length of a 4K video? Also does it have an option for a timestamp on the video? Can you record while plugged into external power?
For pictures usually a camera uses all of the megapixels while for video it uses way less. Each and every single camera does this, regardless of the brand.
In plain terms it means this. The camera takes photo's at a maxiumum of 13 Megapixels, it will then digitally upscale this image (called interpolation) to 48 Megapixels. When you upscale an image, you are essentially adding new information to the image that was not present in the original. This can be useful in certain situations, such as when you want to print an image at a larger size or display it on a higher resolution screen. However, upscaling can and does result in loss of image quality.
OK. Right off I'm a dummy. Please advise on the procedure of installing the lens hood. I got one piece to screw into the lens mount , but that is a far as I got. . It looks like a simple procedure, but simple procedures always throw me for a loop. Is there somwhere a video like Lens Hoods For Dummies ? 🤔
Just buy a Nikon D3300. That'll shoot 1080p60 for 30 minutes at a time, won't cost much more, gives the option of interchangeable lenses, and will be worth something if you want to flip it later.
So use a usb? or the usb port in the computre, also when doing it, it does not work? Should i charge the battery itself intead of the camera@@padremerryn666
It’s not bad only IF you want a starting camera; it’s worse when you actually start advancing. People don’t realize that. My cousin has a very proficient and professional camera, but he’s been doing this WAY longer than me.
I have a 300 euro Samsung a34 5g and I'm convinced that I keep using my phone for filming train content😂 this camcorder is crap, I also don't believe this was 4k😂

Absolutely

damn it looks like budget security cam footage
Love the shirt!
Thank you for this very informative video.
Great review and honest, but can the camera record in stereo sound or only mono?
What do you recommend with auto focus and digital zoom?
Good job.
how can you make this have hours video recording to do one video?

does it output clean HDMI signal 4k @60fps ?
Unfortunately it does not
I know this says for vlogging but is it good for music videos and other content?
Any idea how to clear the information on the screen . It appears when I stream with it. Cannot figure out how to clear it off
I'm honestly not sure how to get rid of it for streaming purposes. I've since given the camera away so I don't have it anymore to check.
Oh thank God. An actual person instead of some procedurally generated advert in disguise.

thank you for the review, any idea why my mic records so low, no matter what settings I try the volume is low on the camera and on my PC
I am not really sure. Unfortunately I have no way to test and troubleshoot this anymore. I no longer have the camera.
Is your camera down? Did it last for more than a month? @@AndyOkun
Looks like he’s recording with an old flip phone
I am he. Lol lol lol yeah definitely not the best quality video.
this review was very helpful! thank you!

good review. despite the cons I do like it starting out. Thanks king !
Did you test EIS? How does it work&
What year was this camcorder released?
What camera are you using to capture this video?
I was using the Panasonic Lumix FZ300.

So why do you have to format a digital card?
You probably do not need to do that step unless you want to wipe the contents of the card.
@@AndyOkun Thanks:)
How can I set the camcorder to record in mp4 format and not mov format it now records in?
Trying to figure out the same thing!
Any way to remove the screen info when using the HD output?
Dang it's bright at night in Cali..
how did you get the lens hood on?
Hey I have the same camcorder, where can I get spare batteries like the one you have for your camcorder? Preferably someplace that isn't expensive.
How to you attach the lens hood?
Thank you very
Much for this, it's been very helpful.
How do I eject the SD card?
I had to push down on it quickly, then it pops up.
Id get this to replace the brick i use to put behind my car tire when im working on it
