Such a good presenter. Competent, calm, what a pleasure to listen. Thank you.
One of the best video walkarounds of any aircraft I've seen. Thorough and detailed, good camera angles showing details often missed, and without unnecessary jabber. Makes you want to buy one, which means it worked!👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice plane!
I take it Mr. Radio Voice has done that walk around/demo a few hundred times.
Lots of advantages to this aircraft. CFD aerodynamic design means handling in crosswind. Liquid cooling ideal for hotter climates especially on take off. Strong composite fuselage with crash protection cell, highly efficient engines. Fadec throttle, and impressive build quality. Looks great too. A thoroughly modern plane.
Agreed with you that the flaps are engineering work of art. Great design.
Agreed!
Congrats from Brazil !!
Nice job Erik and Dirk!
That's cute, now find a hangar for it in the US near a metropolitan area
That’s one bad a$$ looking aeroplane 👨✈️👍
Cool airplane! Love to see it flying in my country.
I personally have just seen this exact aircraft at KHWD yesterday. Quite a presence on the ramp I must say.
You captured amazing audio quality, considering the substantial wind.
That aircraft is a thing of engineering beauty. Thanks so much for the walkaround and meticulous explanation. I'm working on a 3D model of the DA50 for Microsoft Flight Simulator and a lot of your shots are very helpful reference information.
Glad it was helpful!
Cool plane!!
That's a Tom Ford kind plane; sleek like a ninja
Cool bird !!
Sweet!. I want one.
Great voice
That's great to know about the latest machine. I am impressed by the way you have explained the mity gritty of the craft. My in-laws (deceased was an employee of Pakistan Air force) and he would narrate about his experience on the maintenance on the ground. I had been a goods train guard in Pakistan Railway Head quarter rawlpindi.
WOW. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BIRD
I love it
fine! I'll buy one
Beautiful aircraft
That is a gorgeous plane
Love to fly a Demo flight in the Diamond DA-50 RG
What is the full fuel useful load on the models with similar equipment?
Me gustaría aprender a pilotar, lastimosamente será en otra vida. Ya cuando manejas por carreteras por millones de km, piensas en como será manejar un avión
😎
Bewtiful plane Rotax should have made engines for these planes making it fully Austrian 😀
The V300T would have been great in this airplane.
Also, the Chinese own Diamond Aircraft.
Does the diamond da50 rg have a pressurized cabin?
nice ride, but cant leave that plane outside in the elements for long with those TKS wings.
Carbon Fiber for anything… but no def not for deep sea submersibles.
Cf is ok for submarines if it is designed properly
What was that igloo looking cooler on wheels? It almost looked like the a/c.
Your correct. That was the temporary a/c system. The new certified model will have a normal system
@@ErikJohnston thanks!
Why is the oxygen system inoperative?
This is one of their experimental birds. They will have a certified one in a couple months
Wait a sec. Was that an ice chest plumbed to the AC system behind the second row??
That was the temporary a/c system. The certified model will have a permanent solution
what the heck was that cooler looking box in the baggage area
That is the temporary a/c system. These hot Texas days you have to have something. Haha.
The certified model will have a regular system
oh, interesting! thanks! @@ErikJohnston
Just throw a bag of ice in and turn on the battery powered fans and it’s an air conditioning system.
Dumb question. It runs on diesel. Is that common in aviation?
It is a diesel engine that runs in Jet fuel
Same fuel every commercial and business jet and turbine uses - Jet A. So yes, you can get it at every airport in the country.
How much hp does it have
the CD300 is a 3.0L V6 that reaches around 300BHP at takeoff with a continuous power of ~270BHP
@@dashrendar1485 would love to see an engine like this in the new mosaic light sport aircraft.
@@mauriceevans6546they’re very heavy engines so not good for light aircraft.
@brandonadams7837 IDK, with a 54knt stall speed, heavier engines will be possible, not this one though.
I would love to see a pro's unbiased review mike Patey's Scrappy and all its innovations. Watched the build and love the plane but would like to see the industries' reaction to his brain power. Lol
Ciekawy jestem czy ma asystenta pasa ruchu. A nie czekaj...
Are these engines still TBR not TBO! Looking back at a picture I took at Oshkosh in 2018 that’s what it said. TBR 1200h, projected 2000h! 😂
Diesel is the best ❤
You meant to say JET-A1 is the best
