Better be careful! I hopped in the shower once after taking out a sew in .. my hair completely matted up.. during my emergency hair appointment that resulted in the thinning and cutting of my hair my beautician told me it was because all the dead hair that was in my braids caused a matte and locked in because of the water touching it
Seeing people actually taking good care of their type 4 hair and growing it long brings me so much joy to the heart! I live in a place where alot of black ppl think their hair can't grow as long as other hair textures but that is such a lie.. I have type 3 hair and just because its thicker, has a different curl pattern, and experiences more shrinkage than type 1 and 2 hair won't stop the growth journey, it all depends on knowing what to do, learning from mistakes, and dedication.
I LOVE that line so much 😭😭 the smell and the products. I don’t have the shampoo and conditioner (they didn’t have it in any of the stores I went to) but the oil, mask and leave in I love love love down
My low porosity locs are salivating at this wash routine ❤ Will definitely be following this routine the next time I wanna take matters into my own hands. For now I'm getting back to the salon routine bc I just can't anymore 😂
I’ve been seeing so many people use this line lately I had to check it out; I washed my hair yesterday. Idk if I like it as much as the strengthen and restore line for my hair but the smell is just *chef’s kiss*
I have 4 different shampoos that I am currently rotating through, I like the way creme of nature leaves my hair feeling. I have 2 different by them. Using shea moisture cocunut and hibiscus. Joico moisture recovery. Just depends on how I'm feeling that day. I do enjoy aunt Jackie's coco repair deep conditioner. As well as the shea moisture manuka and honey deep conditioner. Sometimes I get bored and have to shake things up a bit.
Your curls are beautiful ! Wash day is tomorrow and I just bought this set, I can’t wait to try. I plan on seating under a heated dryer after applying the bond mask.
Wow!!! I would have never considered taking down a protective style by wetting my hair 😱 my hair needs a LOT of moisture so this will definitely help me in the future to make the process more manageable
First she wetted her hair and applied a conditioner to take down her plaits to reduce breakage. (That’s when she goes from plaits to twist) Then she shampoed and applied a deep conditioner(the mask) with her hair in twists to avoid it retangeling.. After the washing part, she undid the twists , applied a leave-in-conditioner did the 2 plaits and then applied oil to seal in the moisture in prepation for her next protective style. And that‘s it😊
I wanted to ask a genuine question are you supposed to leave your hair out for a week before putting it in another protective style thats what i heard i just wanted more tips for retention
That’s literally the smartest thing ever.. wtf 💀💀why haven’t I thought about taking my hair out in the shower. The amount of hair I loose while taking it out dry is CRAZY.
My favorite way to take down my hair is no longer soaking wet, not only bc having to stand in the shower combing for ages(unless it’s a simple comb out), but bc I notice when taking down braids and having build up on my edges, oil can really be warmed up or worked in there to loosen dirt or lint so you don’t pull out your edges. So I use a lot of oil and possibly water but I like detangler lotions. I worry less about my hair being dry or in a weird state after washing and conditioning, getting ready to let my hair breathe. I loved this tho, excellent takedown for this style; and My spidey senses told me this was a good product
Do you keep your hair at a certain length ive just noticed it being similar in length as it was in your older videos and was just wondering as i follow your journey if youve cut it or keep it at a certain length. Just curious as im trying to grow my own hair out past the waist area as my ends are breaking lol. Would love to see more deep conditioning detangling routines.😊
This was the most professional review I’ve seen in a long time!!
It's giving infomercial 😂😂
I said the same thing🤔
Its an ad lol😭
@@thecousin5280 I've seen a lot of ads... This is just superior😂
Fr. She’s a classy gyal
This is so smart… never thought about taking down protective styles wet
I only open my childrens hair like this. It works so much. So gently it makes them tell friends how gentle i am with their hair.

I usually take down wet but not like this. Usually spray with my bottle to damp the hair.
@@taylorrenee9325same happened to me. It’s because you’re supposed to comb out your hair after taking the braids out.
@@da1stamericus Same! It's the only way.
My hair could never 😂😂 that thang will lock up if i wet it/ wash it before detangling 😩😩😭 the frustration
I have this exact same problem.
@@AshleyMels glad to know im not alone 😭❤️

Her hair has so much love and volume. I love it.
That was added hair at the end

Her hair is very healthy and full on it’s own, checkout her other videos
Hey sista gurlll I really just learned something. Never take down p.s. dry. It's sensible, smart and genius 👊🏾🥰 thank you
The same for doing new styles or detangling. If it's not moist or wet it should be oiled.
I’ve tried this line, it’s really good!
Girl hats off to you! I big chopped and did a relaxer. Im now rocking a pixie cut. I simply could not anymore.
Same this pixie cut is a lifesaver!!
Exactly why I love locs. Low maintenance
@@Yung.Wild.free01cut mine off 2 weeks ago got a pixie and it saves me sooo much time.
GIRLLLLL you look like Dawnn Lewis, spitting image
I never thought about that, but yes, she does resemble her❤.
Woooow I never even noticed. They do favor.
I LOVE that line so much 😭😭 the smell and the products. I don’t have the shampoo and conditioner (they didn’t have it in any of the stores I went to) but the oil, mask and leave in I love love love down
I dont even have your texture of hair but this was so satisfying to watch.

Wow 😯
This is a full course already😩😩
The way my arms, legs and back are set up, I would need a good chair in that shower.
As a low porosity girl this routine looks like a life saver esp in the shower when the hair is still very hydrated

😅😅

Whats stopping you. You should start now
It amazes me that years ago, none of this information was easily accessible.

That’s good for your hair 👍; But my own hair will probably suffer from both moisture and protein overload by the end of the washing lol
