I found that when using the spray glue,it makes the needle sticky on the machine.

I'm attempting to make these. Am having issues sewing the 1/4 inch seam, then turning right side out, pressing, and sewing 1/8 inch around. The batting and insulbright rolls and the sewing is not even. It looks wavy at times. My opening doesn't close evenly as well. What am I doing wrong?
I tried the 1/4 inch top stitch all around, and it doesn't close the opening, so I went to the 1/8 inch seam allowance for the top stitch with the same issues.

In the preview your lines go vertical. Can you use an line direction. I assume yes as its just to hold the batting in place

I used diagonal lines in the one we made I. The video which is the one rolled up in the preview picture. In the other one I used vertical lines. As stated in the video it is purely a personal choice. You could also use free motion.

Nice turtorial but what does a 3.8 stitch length equate to? I sew on a 1957 sewing machine.

Forgot to ask, what is the name of the second batting you used? I didn’t see it listed in the video details list. Thanks again

It was in the video description but I just moved it to the top to make it easier to find.
