Fascinating video, very informative. I have two Elvis autographs on bits of paper. They are dated 1957. When I was a teen in the 1960s I had a penpal in Memphis, also an Elvis fan. She saw Elvis around town in the fifties and got his autograph a lot on any piece of paper that was on hand, and wrote the date on them. Her letters often mentioned Elvis and times she saw him. She sent me two of the autographs she had, in case I wanted to give one to a friend, but I never parted with either of them.
A simply outstanding video my friend. Chock-full of detail and information. Your integrity and devotion to the subject shines through. Well done, Sir...
I love the detail included in this episode. Everyone can relate to the show's topic. I think it is one the best shows in the series to date. And no, you do not come off as snarky
Very interesting show Robert..learnt a lot watching.I have noticed more than often the signatures that come up for sale the most are just on small pieces of paper..I’ve also been very wary of these for the fact if you know you were going to see him you’d take something more worthwhile to keep than a scrap piece of paper.Just my opinion.Great show !!
FYI; I just watched the Elvis, April News Report by Emiel Maier on his UA-cam Channel. The Definitive Collection of Elvis Autographs, Vol 1. written by Steven M. Shutts.will be released in late May.
What I wouldn't give for a elvis autograph, cause in the uk you just don't come across things like that, and the guy with the five signed sun singles , we'll that just blew my mind. I did pick up a beatles signed picture in a charity shop last year and have always wondered if it is the real thing, even the guy that I paid the money to said that's looks so real. Luv the show.
I really enjoyed this episode, Robert! I feel very fortunate that the 1970 Elvis autograph I bought was from a friend of mine who saw Elvis sign the 8x10 1970 International Hotel Elvis photo. I'm happy to say I do not own a Sonny West Elvis autograph! But if advertised as an Elvis autograph that Sonny signed, I would pay for something like that...just not as much as the real deal.
A very good, informative show. In order for me to buy an autograph I would need VERY convincing evidence. Even Certificates of Authenticity can be faked. Of course, the autographs with clearly convincing evidence fetch more money.
I found this show “That’s the way it is”. Does anyone really trust buying an Autograph from any one. My friend could duplicate anything many years ago with any writing instrument. Fountain pens ball point pencils. He always told me there is “An Ass for every seat “. With right ink for time PSA is useless and a gamble
Take care Robert

Great show Robert. Very informative. I have 2 autographs, including one he signed in 1959 on a small European picture card while in Germany.

I saw that a limited edition book of Elvis autographs is out. I saw it on the April 2024 Elvis Presley news channel hosted by Emil Maier.
Robert Thanks ❤.Daniel.
Great informative video👍
I hope the signature at 28:53 is an example of a fake. Great show Robert!
I believe it is. 😊

Best thing to do is not buy one.
