I agree with Kurt Russell. Elvis was frustrated because his talent wasn't being used seriously. Elvis was the best & I listen to his music all the time. I will always love Elvis.
it can happen again. he was a great talent on the arrow of a new genre shaped in the incubator region for blues/gospel. he also came along during a boom economy and the explosion of a new medium (tv). elvis was as much a convergence of those forces as he was a special talent. the beatles rode that same type of impact. it can happen again, esp w/ the global interconnection of the net. music is ripe for a big change soon, the next elvis is probably right under our nose.
kelvinkloud maybe? he has been dead for 40 years no one has come close so far. maybe have to wait another 100 years. beatles the same thing it's unlikely another band that good will turn up. 4 genius in one band what the chances. listen to abbey road from start to finish the standard of musicianship is probably untouchable
@CoolGamer Jr Elvis has millions of fans who love him even 44 years after his death. We love him here in South Africa. And you can never compare MJ's voice with Elvis. Elvis is The VOICE! Legend. The GOAT!
I was 13 years old when Elvis made Blue Swede Shoes. I was so enthralled by him that I would stand in front of mirror and try to copy his moves . He was the King!!
I wish I could tell Kurt myself, if I ever get to meet him, how he KILLED IT in that Elvis biography movie he did....he was amazing in the role, over the moon ! No one else before or since has done it so well.
I love you Kurt Russell first because I feel your your authenticity and then on another level I love you also because You Loved Elvis and your beloved angel darling wife our beloved Goldie Hawn and so you must be yourself an angel of a kind . Anyway this is what what I am sensing and appreciating Ian you.. I've noticed that you seem to have the same type of good beautiful Essence Elvis Presley possessed I'm so I could see the magic of your performance and capturing this man's demeanor. Austin Butler seems to have the same type of Essence similar to Elvis and you... I wonder and Ponder upon the hierarchy of the spiritual Realm and at what point and what time and who's essence going to evolve, be recognized appreciated and farther along our elated super conscientious culture.
to hear about elvis get starstruck by kurt russell's dad shows why he's so cool. as great of a man he is, he's still a southern boy who loves westerns. i like that. it makes him a real god. and kurt to play elvis years later is a great tribute and he does elvis right.
He was a good actor, it was a shame though that he never made any kind of serious movie. I always thought he would have been absolutely perfect as Joe Buck in the movie "Midnight Cowboy". If he did that, it would have been like rocket fuel to his acting career. Can you imagine that scene with him and Dustin Hoffman trying to heat a can of beans in that abandoned building and Elvis looking sloppy and stressed, that face he had would have been perfect for that movie. Jon Voight did a great job but I think Elvis would have been a hell of a lot better. I think that asshole manager of his really screwed things up for him
I really want to be a Superstar like Elvis so doctors around the country can feed me prescriptions that they know will kill me. The great world of show-biz takes a man with so much great talent and destroys him. We should be ashamed.
Incredible interview! Love both Kurt and Elvis!
Elvis's incredible voice, looks, charisma & sheer star power were just amazing... there will never be another Elvis!
I agree with Kurt Russell. Elvis was frustrated because his talent wasn't being used seriously. Elvis was the best & I listen to his music all the time. I will always love Elvis.
Elvis was a miracle of nature there will never be anyone who is that special ever again

Kurt certainly played the role of Elvis to the hilt, he did an excellent portrayal of Elvis in the Movie.....
I love this Kurt. Bless you.
IMO Kurt Russell pretty much made himself an icon as an actor.
I wish I could tell Kurt myself, if I ever get to meet him, how he KILLED IT in that Elvis biography movie he did....he was amazing in the role, over the moon ! No one else before or since has done it so well.
Nope ! JimCarrey did the best in the movie "ManOnTheMoon" !!
Kurt is reading that from the page. Amazing how naturally he delivered those lines.

I watched them shoot this scene at the Seattle center...it took forever...

One of the few people who can say they kicked Elvis.
I love Kurt Russell
Interesting video. Thank you

Elvis be the da Man!
❤❤❤
3000 miles to Graceland would've been a decent movie if it had an actual score

omg
Kurt even likes TRUMP. God Bless Him!
rgartside032378 ,To bad Elvis wouldn't,he was a Eisenhower Republican which the Right call far left LIBERAL !
Martinez Roger i'm not so sure about that. His inner circle said he was quite conservative
@@martinezroger9862 Bill Clinton was actually right of Trump. So Eisenhower was WAY right of Trump
Kurt.....you were a lousy Elvis.
