Your boiler rooms are the cleanest I've ever seen.
Thanks! This is in our Boiler University lab so we try and keep it spotless for students when they come in. Thanks for the comment!
never in my 29yrs have I seen a boiler room this clean!!!!!! Never!!
Great video, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
What's the difference between deaerator and economizer or hot well tank?
The modulating control valve on your feed-water coming into the boiler is unique for me. Our low pressure boiler calls for water when the low water cut-out float calls for it. That modulating control valve is probably a lot more efficient.
Great video. Really helps while I study for my NYC High Pressure License. Hoping to take a class with you guys in the near future.
Hubert appreciate you watching. Good luck on your exam.

@@wareboilers thank you
@@wareboilers sir i have a question?
Hello. We have three Johnson Fire tube boilers. and we usually use 1 or 2 most of the time but we keep the other boiler always warm about 15-20 PSI from the steam generating pressure. My question is that why when the boiler in on standby we keep the manual feedwater valve in off position even though we have an automatic feedwater valve?
Thank you for your videos.
Is the DA considered a press vessel? Its open to atmosphere but its a non fixed orifice that controls its back pressure correct?
I’ll answer both of your questions here as they are related. Yes a DA is a pressure vessel. It does require relief valves because it is considered as such. The orifice is to exhaust condensable gasses and not to control pressure. Thanks for the question!
@@wareboilers got it but the pressure can be effected by the adjustment of the orifice. I mean i know it isnt used to control the pressure but it can technically do so.
Please can you give me the most part in the boiler is being vibrating?
