7:24 not the person for that snap, but yes it is the dance tile floor. The dance tile floor when rotated the colors and background rotate separately and it looks like that. I discovered this on accident when I was rotating it around one of my wells. The snaps were insane this week!! Loved them so much. Thanks for the portal so we could share the fun!!

Mine is the disco floor! If you put it at an angle it the colors don’t rotate! I had a lot of fun and I found out I was in top 3 by seeing me in the game first!

**cries in Switch** It's always so disheartening to see how beautiful Dreamsnaps results can be, knowing that, even my most tagged/thought out snap is never going be as cinematic of a shot as other platform users simply because I play on a Switch. You guys get blurry backgrounds for depth of field, we get pixelated images. There's always a sense of movement, or flow, in other platform users' shots. Our characters look mid-glitch. Your guys' images look smooth and hi-def, ours look like we're using ancient technology 😭 I know a lot of work still goes into creating great snaps regardless of the platform advantage, I'm not discrediting that, but man! It's hard not to notice how crummy even my most well-performed shot looks.
I went into the portal to check and 2 of the number 1 score were done on a Nintendo switch. Its definitely possible to achieve these results on a switch.
@MisaKaye I'm not talking about ranking, though, I'm talking about my personal preference for the quality of the image. Look at the shot by Mindy in this video, around the 5 minute mark. It's an awesome shot, it was set up beautifully, but there's a huuuuge deterioration in the pixel quality of it vs the other shots. The Switch just lacks big time in that regard. It's like Ice Age level CGI vs. Encanto level CGI. I can appreciate both movies for what they are, but that Ice Age animation looks soooo outdated compared to Encanto. That's how I, personally, feel about the Switch.
I definitely feel you because I used to play the game on xbox one, so the older generation of the console. I was so sad that my pics were pixelated and didn't have the nice blurry background either. That's why I'm so happy I've decided to buy the game on my laptop and the enhanced quality of the snaps or the game itself is really a satisfying sight to see 😍

I'm by not means saying the Rank 1s didn't deserve it, they do, but those snaps were amazing too My favorites are snaps from *Girly* with a Princess snap + the Background looks incredible, *Bae* , *Leanne Mae* with the Perfect pose along with *Febrianne* & *Kalinn's* snaps and.. My favourites from the portal are snaps from *NAMI* with a Alice In Wonderland snap. *Cathika* with a totally out of the box snap along with *MaryBeth* , *FlameG* & *EvErra*

I love when the online community seems to all do well together 🥳 These are the best weeks. I only got 1,500 but my photo was sort of off topic for this week. I just liked it a lot and didn’t have a ton of time so I kept it.
I did even see more people on Facebook, I think 2 more that aren't on the portal so that might add up to the 15 people theory. It's insane!! I love everyone's submissions, congratulations to all of them 😍 I'll have to find time to go on the portal
This is just a thought... but could ranks and voting is region based? Because I'm from a different country... and I have never seen any of the photos you show on these videoes when voting?
Hahaha yes, on the lamps you can see my low effort😆they weren't like this in the beginning, but I was so fed up with the characters so I was moving the lamps to move them aswell and eventually I left it like this 🙃I was like "you know what, I'm fed up. This will do." Now I think I've could rearrange them better and maybe put something in the foreground because it looks so empty. I mean now this snap will stick forever in my top submissions on the portal 😭 And thank you for your kind words❤ thought you will say "whaat? this doesn't deserve rank 1" 🤣
So if you trap the characters in front of you, they will turn to look at you! They won’t stay like that long but they also wouldn’t do much else with how small their space was 😅 I wanted Mickey and Minnie animating with each other but I couldn’t get everyone to cooperate at the same time
It's just unbelievable! So many winners. I'm very happy about it and I'm happy for everyone. My best ranking so far was around 260th and now I'm just 1st. 😂

Too much brightness for me... Every week I lose more motivation to submit dreamsnaps. I did it at the last minute last week. Nothing yet this week. DDV seems to be slowly dying to me, is it just a feeling? Maybe because I didn't like the new expansion as much as the first one? (Waiting for part 2 to have a definitive opinion of course.) Still a fantastic game. Just dunno if I can keep playing it every week when I don't really care about premium items. Maybe I should take a monthly break.
You are not alone.. i didnt submit this new year dreamsnap. Even though i like the new DLC so much, i kinda lost my spark in this game. I took a break too

7:10 disco floor…layered corner over corner like a tile…in between is the blue pebble floor but just as a tile instead of the full flooring .
