Design Decisions 7 - How much yarn?

Estimating yarn for a single color garment can be as easy as weighing the sample, but how you do figure out how much of each color when you are working a colorwork garment? In this video, I talk about how I figure this out. Is it the only way...no. Are there easier ways...maybe. Let me know if you use a different method. This is just the way I do it. V

Although I'm not a designer, as a retired (software) engineer I find this design series fascinating. Thank you for taking the time to do the videos. I'm knitting your Cumulativa pattern as I watch this, and your charting method took me a second to grasp but I found it to be simple and effective.
