I am trying to use the same font , color, and size throughout my videos .However, the text size always changes depending on the number of characters in the text, regardless of specifying font size . Any advice?
@@BillKnowsStuff I found the solution to my problem yesterday evening. And yes ,that was a problem using simple text . I am now successfully using rich text. Thx for responding though
When I try to use Rich Text the program hangs for like 60 seconds or crashes. This happens everytime I select the filter or the time hits the clip with the Rich text filter on it. Any idea what would be causing that by any chance?
Hmmm? Haven't run into this specifically before. The Shotcut help forum might have more information, but I've got three things you can try. Try running Shotcut as administrator. Usually you can just right click the icon and select "Run as Administrator" See if it still crashes. Try a new project using a different video. Does it exhibit the same problem? If the answer is no, pull the video into shotcut. Export it without the rich text. Start a new project, pull the new video in, edit that one with rich text. Lastly, uninstall shotcut. Reboot. Download the newest stable version, install. See if that works. Hope one of those helps.
Thx! 😀👍

Are you using Rich Text? That sounds like the problems that you get from using Text Simple.
