Waiting on their outdoor cameras
You need one for the chicken coop!!!
Does Simplisafe ship into Canada?? I am unable to find the info on their website.
Simply safe sucks, just buy something that pushes you movement notifications and save the monitoring fee. Nice 15000 dollar saw mill though
Be careful with placement. Recently some Inhome security camera like product (cameras) were hacked where they were talking to and scaring a young child, another entirely different property while wife was in bed and husband was out of town, she called him and he said he wasn't accessing (red lite was on) it etc (believe a voice spoke to her as well). If it's online or accessible via Bluetooth or other, it more than likely can be hacked.
This was in the news several times over the last few weeks.
Hey Mike that's a nice piece of wood but I think Melissa is prettier.
Mike, in a video back one or two you mentioned that the bifocals mess up your actions, you can have a pair made with the bifocals in the top of the lens. I do not know the cost but it would be worthwhile.
Definitely edible.
Wood-mizer cutting through the wood like a hot knife through butter. Nice to have a super model as coworker.
Sorry to hear about Hunter’s seizure. My brother in law has the same type of seizures. Hopefully he didn’t hurt himself.
I wish I have a helper like her, I might not get anything done though. Those smiles!!
Uuh... smiles?
She smiled...?
r u one of those people who cant walk and chew gum at the same time.
😂
All do respect...I could watch her pile wood all day LOL.
Thank you for telling us more about Hunter. I'll be praying for him. He doesn't deserve this. You both are amazing parents. I'll be praying for strength for you and the girls as well.
Have you checked into the medical marijuana or CBD oil for Hunter? I think its suppose to be beneficial with seizures.
I like your videos but you should know your beautiful and very fit wife is the star of your videos.....
This is the kind of woman I need!
Sorry to hear about hunter's seizure, I know the feeling I battle a seizure disorder myself but it is under control with medication. Hop hunter feels better soon.
brother I normally enjoy log cutting vids for the log cutting, found myself skippin to the best bits of mrs morgan, fantastic
I began to have concerns for her well-being when she shows up with her helmet on backwards...
Look again, that’s how it’s supposed to be worn...
Sorry about hunter! Yer doin good with yer mill mike! I have sawed grade for many years and if you wanted I am willing to share some key points to making good lumber! But ya got a great handle on it! You and Melissa take care of each other! I got her name right this time! Haha!
Seizures are scary as hell. Hope he is doing okay because Hunter is our hero. Thank-you for your videos, I look forward to seeing them.
Who wouldn't want a wife like that! Practical and beautiful!
Mike, Even if you saw a log and you are not a fan of it well then its firewood haha! No waste! What are you doing with the sawdust? I am not sure if you addressed it or not but farmers could use it for chickens or whatever? Maybe make some $ that way! Sorry about Hunter... Thats always terrifying to see. I couldn't imagine coming home and seeing that. Sending prays to Him and your family! God Bless!
A spicy chicken sandwich might help Hunter feel better! Hang in there Hunter!
Have you asked for safety glasses with the reading lens above the distance lens? Not much good for general use but may be good for your work site.
God bless you guy's and Hunter !!! I see joy on your faces when your talking about him. A gift from God !!!
No such thing as an ugly cherry log.
Respect the Wood
I had to watch this 6 times to figure it out, but apparently there is a guy and a sawmill in this video.
There is?!
@@jeffdavis110 Really.... a very lucky guy...
Where. All I see is perky things
😂
That's funny!!
I have owned a portable saw mill about 20 years. Nothing like the feeling of turning trees into actual lumber! ?
So sorry to hear about Hunter, he is in our prayers, he’s very special to us even though we have not meet him in person other that on UA-cam
Scooch is a measurement generally defined as between 1/16th when using the small scale, and a few inches on the large scale. Yours was the large scale and an appropriate use of scooch. A smidgen is a separate measurement and the two should not be confused. A Tad could have been used.
I agree with your assessment and usage of the "Colloquial Measurement Scale". Would you say an (iota) is equal to, or somewhere between Scooch, Smidgen and Tad, or a different regional conversion all-together? These minute' tolerances could officially be called - the Sphincter Scale ??
I thought I had a lot of equipment . Your lady is very pretty also,. You're a hard worker.
I’m glad Hunter is alright. Many years ago a student had a seizure on the school bus I drove. Very scary to see your first one.
Good video. Scootch sounds good to me. We need more guys like you sawing Cherry to bring the Cherry market back. We shouldn't be sending all our export logs to China to be made into flooring and furniture just to be shipped back and resold in the United States.
God bless you guys and a special blessing for Hunter! You two are so cute! I also liked it when mom walked by with her phone texting! lol...Good people.
BS D
Dear Morgan family
I am watching and enjoying your channel for few months, especially I love your family - WHO YOU ARE the respect you have one for another, the support you give to each other. These are the best and biggest things I learned from you.
Thank you and God bless you to continue growing together for many years to come
Haim
Have a nice mill and loader etc. But holy crap wish my wife looked like that. Luca
What a smile on that "assistant."
Great video--put a girl innit and suddenly things just get better! :) Highly interested in background tune playing, Beg, Borrow & Steal I think's the title---who's the band or artist?
TIA
jwa718 Delete? Wesley Cousins Band
No Problem Mile. I went to my eye DR and he prescribed bifocals. I put them on and when leaving the resptuniest sed why are your pants wet in front, I told her that in the bathroom i looked down with my new byfocals and saw two so I put one away :)
Better keep that money rollin' in, or she's gone.
You do have a ton of equipment. You must be a dealer in it. wow, I hope to see more of the little lady.
At 21:30 is the pose woodmizer should run in their marketing. Makes me want to buy one!
How do you like the LX150? I’m looking into buying a portable sawmill and was wondering what your thoughts were on this model?
I Like the way you work together.
Mike, I love your choice of music on all of your videos!
Not too fond of her staying under the claw part of the tractor, a failing hose, although rare, could hurt her real bad..pls lady, don't take your safety for granted around those machines, stay out of harm's way..always, and you will be a witness to mess-ups instead of a casualty.
How do you make sure the 3rd cut is perpendicular to the first 2?
(i just want to mention how beautiful this lady is)
Uh yeah,,, only reason I watch the vids. She is gorgeous. And the Wood Mixer is pretty cool.
The trick to walking your dog is to WALK the dog. Bike riding is cheating.
Soooooo beautiful! And the girl isn't bad either! :)
See all that pitch building up on the blade? It causes the cycling sound. Try diesel or atf as a lubricant, one drop per second.
I used cheap dishwashing detergent in water. Just a dribbled or a bit more whenever I would hear that cycling sound start up. Better to prevent it cause trying to clean it after the sap as cooked from the friction heat is a PITA ;)
We us pinesol
That was definitely a scooch! (scooch. intransitive verb. scooched, scooch·ing, scooch·es. To move a short way.)
bama we say "bit" has no direct correlation to length, size or amount. You will be notified until it is done right!
Hey I got a Great idea on the first cuts you lose a lot of wood how about you make a ripper attachment that cuts ahead of the bandsaws cut you can have a lot of valuable choice pices
Hey man,
Cool mill, what do you do with most of your stuff post mill? I also have a mill. I slab them and hopefully sell the slabs. I've got the same cant hook to bad ass.
So far just stickers and stack
Yes, I always tried to get indica strain. But then again, I grew a lot of my own.
I used to run a huge planer and would have to watch for metal. I found bullets, barbed wire, a license plate. I put them all in a coffee can to show other operators, or clients to help them u.derstsnd the process better.
Use the first cuts from woodmizer as kindling starters.
that is some great FIGURE... on the wood, the wood, I swear. What figuring!! EDIT: God bless your family. (I'm subbed).
Melissa could be my help anytime....
Beautiful wife!
sorry, lost track of what was going on when the 'help' arrived...
A thought has occurred to me. If the heart wood is so undesirable for furniture, etc, then cut it to 18" pieces and sell it for smoker wood. Cherry is very good for many meats. I'm interested!
Since when is heartwood not desirable for woodworking? Heartwood is preferred by makers. It's has much less moisture content than sapwood which means it will shrink less as it dries and it's much less susceptible to fungus.
I hope Hunter is better. Another enjoyable video. 👍🏴
Mike I hope you see and read this comment. Regarding your bifocals, if you’re not already aware, you can get PROGRESSIVE no line lenses in sunglasses. I’d recommend TRANSITION lenses. Clear when you want clear, sunglasses when you need them. DON’T CHEAP OUT, BUY THE BEST YOU CAN AFFORD. I’d recommend VARILUX lenses in TRANSITIONS. I buy and wear these type lenses everytime I need to change my glasses. You will go through a learning curve getting used to PROGRESSIVE lenses but well worth it. No more issues with a smile bifocal, PROGRESSIVE lenses are no line and are wonderful. Try these, you won’t be sorry you did. Your wallet may complain a bit though.
Hope Hunter is ok nice piece of cherry What are you going to do with the starter pieces ? Cut them up and sell as fire wood we used them for fire wood also when I was a kid in our wood stove in the kitchen also they were used as cap blocks in the coal mines to finish the props that held up the roof in the minds they would make good starter wood great video 😁👍
The mill cuts well. The wood is ok, yes for some furniture but not a real dramatic grain. I like turning cherry wood but if you get a chance to get some large lilac wood (I know it does not grow large) it has impressive grain and if you cut into where the resin is you will have the lilac smell all the time.
Seen some of your videos, I like them, thanks for your work. Food for thought though, being under anything that's held up by hydraulics and not pinned is just a matter of time and place until it fails. Best practice (and regulation in some places) is to keep all hydraulics at rest when not in use and if that's not your thing (not always for me either) but definitely stay out of the line of fire.
The Sponsored Items are VERY USEFUL to the viewers...What are the Names of the Products??? You need a list...what is the name of the bike co? the doorbell company? the log cutting company? get lists!
Enjoyed the video. I didn’t realize hunter suffered from seizures as well. Just discovered this video. If it helps tell him I suffer from anxiety seizures and that they can be gone for months and comeback. They are not a typical seizure where I loose control, although they can be violent at times. Love watching bought the old and new stuff. Plus have gained a lot of ideas!
Good job on you'll s video marry Christmas ,I like the music as well. !!
Morgan's, first and foremost, I hope Hunter is alright. Hate to hear news like that.
Second, "Next, on Outdoors with the Morgans... Melissa goes HEAD OVER HEALS for sawmills!" (or ass-over-teacups as I like to say) :-D
I'm curious about your son. Eliminating dairy and gluten, along with a laundry list of food additives (colors, preservatives, MSG, etc.) can improve behavior. People have used naloxone (Narcan) and naltrexone to help autistic patients quit dairy. Glutamate, the most common neurotransmitter, is excitatory, and triggers multiple types of neurons to fire, like a master key. GABA is anxiolytic, and only differs by one carboxyl group. Active B6, P5P B6, is needed for GAD to convert one to another. GABA is available as a supplement. There are a lot of other things to consider. I'd be willing to talk with you about it. I'm not selling anything, and you could verify info and get the green light from your doctor. I'm at the south end of Yinzerland, if it matters.
I'm glad Hunter is okay. God bless him. Personally, I have no problem with sponsorship; except when it is simply for a quick dollar. I am glad you shared this praticular video. If a product can help save someones life, or simply make it safer; SHOW me, please. I always enjoy your channel. God bless the Morgan Family.
That's all you can say to that lady is, "I like your helmet?" Lol. You must be a married man.
Good morning, Morgans. Well wishes to Hunter from California.
Otherwise, Mike, give the reading glasses from Costco a try. Sold in 3 packs, about $12.00. I used to use the dollar store glasses, broke fairly often. I've yet to break a pair from Costco. Just a heads up 😎
Hey will you PLEASE !!!!! not stand under the open grapple ! I have seen old and BRAND new HYD hoses blow for no reason , that grapple would slam down and closed , and depending on the system the loader arms could also drop with NO WARNING ! would hate to have anything like that happen to anyone ..
You should be catching that cherry saw dust for people with Masterbuilt smokers, same with oak, pecan and hickory!
Thanks to anyone who makes videos for us to view. I've learned a lot. Here's a hint: LEAVE OUT MUSIC!! It's not why we watch a woodworking show. Showing you rachet your saw while you talk about digging a neighbor's ditch is a waste of your time and mine.
Been a subscriber for a long time but what's with all the ads?
WoodMizer portable sawmills are the best. My wife worked for the company in Indianapolis off of 10th street. They also make awesome log splitters. Nothing more satisfying than cutting your on wood for building and heating!
Hello Mike. Does the band saw carriage power itself along, or do you have to push it? MELLISA! Don't stand under the tractor grab, I'd hate to see you get punctured in case of hydraulic failure. Best regards.
I experience the same problem with the bifocal safety glasses, tripping and falling over stuff. My eye guy warned me about this, which is due to the lens curvature. My normal glasses are more flat. Says my brain will adapt to receiving 2 types of info from my eyes. Too dangerous, I think.
This isn’t about simply safe or the mill, however as far as the thanksgiving seizures.... I have complex migraines, that are similar to strokes..... so many environmental factors trigger me as well as many other causes, however 3-4 New Years eves in a row I had a cluster of my migraines, as well as other repetitive days, but one thing and I don’t know about with seizures is perhaps it has to do with sensory overload - stress of the holidays? Just a thought
Your chick is a 10 ! Why you ask? It's not her killer body, nor is it her beautiful face..... it's her love for you and your dreams, she stands side by side with you! That's what makes her a perfect 10 !
Dude sorry but I skipped to the part with the hot women in it :D Anyways man if this is your wife you have made an excellent choice and she has with you, all she needs now, is a power drill, a hammer, a tool belt, and a construction hat. :D To have your wife help you and love helping you do the things you enjoy doing in life, that makes her amazing women man... God bless you guys :D
What is up with all these hot girls cutting wood?! I mean I am not really complaining... But they are all MARRIED!!!! LOL
8/4 cherry - table legs. 10 or even 12/4 is better. Table legs are best when they are able to be cut from large stock - that way the furniture make can choose the exact grain he wants, and it doesn’t have to be co-planer with the original cut of the wood. Check our some of Steve Latta’s stuff.
Heck yeah it will make nice furniture . I will take all the Pennsylvania cherry I can get . My dads from south jersey . I've had cherry from pa before , very good stuff . What would you charge for those 8 boards of cherry ?
If the 1st cut board is furniture grade, you should cut the boards at least 2 inches thick. A furniture maker will have more flexibility working with a thicker board especially with cherry or walnut which are quite valuable!!! A furniture maker is your buyer for good furniture grade lumber!
With all the videos on UA-cam featuring cutting planks of wood, I’m surprised that there’s any bloody trees left standing in America?
Hi, seeing that your in Pennsylvania, that bullet was no doubt from the Civil War. That cherry tree was no doubt a young'n 160 years ago. That board can be used as a historic conversational piece.
Just to be a little picky but working with lumber in running shoes? Obviously, you haven't dropped a board on you foot yet. Are you going to wait until you drop a whole log before you get some shoes with steel toes? signed "speaking from experience".
Really enjoy your videos but why don't you both wear face masks with that sawdust and particularly the **** from the bark...anyway enough from me :)
Ha, I was going to be negative in this comment, but decided not to be. However I find it odd you manage to keep clean while using a bandsaw mill while wearing white clothes, as I have used a bandsaw mill a lot, So I will make a constructive comment.... the lady.... wear steel tow boots and tie your hair back to remove a chance it may be caught in spinning machinery . On a second thought I sure would like that pile of lumber you just sawed! Vic
Me encanta ver sus videos un saludo desde Chicago amigos gracias me gusta ver los diferentes trabajos que hacen las maquinas modernas yo trabajo con maquinas en la jadineria🌲
Did not realize Hunter also has epilepsy. Poor guy. Great you have those cameras to help you take care of him. Nice cherry. Makes me feel guilty every time I cut it up for firewood now!!!!
yep... you're cutting some beautiful cherry there. Thanks!
Get some Lazer eye surgery...
Thanks for sharing the story about Hunter and Simplisafe. My daughter has CP and is non-verbal. Like what Simplisafe was able to give you in terms of monitoring. I’m going to look into this for our family. Would love to know if you set up any cameras in a special way for a Hunter. Over his bed for example.
Melissa Morgan any specific approaches you can share?
A week or so back I inquired about the "brick house". The question seemed to have created a stir from some. I did not mean to be intruding into private matters, but some seemed to have taken it as such. Morgans, please accept my apologies if I shouldn't have ask.
I like your videos ! but ? owning and operating a heavy equipment business for 20 years ! and I noticed that your lovely wife was standing and stacking the wood all the while the tractor grapple was raised above her head with the hydraulics of the tractor ??? please never stand crawl or do anything under a hydraulic jack or other implement that is not supported mechanically !!! its just a safety thing with me and also when was having to step thru the frame of the saw mill structure and cross over holding on to a heavy board with both hands ??? that looks like "leg break city" !!! be careful ! what you are doing is the same thing that I do now that I am retired and that machinery that you are using is dangerous as it is so just use caution !!
How thick do you slice that cherry log,? I saw just one vidio and was hooked. Good videos.
Very hard working couple love the videos Melissa looks very beautiful in this video she looks great in jeans and belt
i love these great kids! they're real fine people and very industrious young entrepreneurs!
Mike, not a very safe idea to use bifocal sunshades. I've owned a whole heap of sunglasses over the decades, but after investing a fair chunk of cash in a pair of Maui Jim's, I honestly don't think they can be beaten.
