While there could be some complaints about the lake, when we lived there for 4 years (2015-2019) that lake saved alot of homes that might of been burnt to the ground. I still remember all the water dropping helicopters flying over, picking up water and then heading to the local hills. It's definitely a diamond in the rough!

As far as I'm concerned, when city officials across the state vote to kill desalination plants up our coastline, our water issues must not be too dire. If we were ever in an actual water emergency, desalination plants are incredibly cost effective. There are already some in operation. I think every coastal city should have at least 1.

Exactly! My contractor Dad built a house pretty near the lake in the 80's
You have to do a "perk" test to make sure the septic outflow will perk back into the ground, if it does, then flush away!

First of all why is this new we had no water for a min. Wonder why now its raining wonder why we have landslides maybe 🤔 southern Cali takes all the water for their pool. Maybe all the golf courses. Maybe all the farmers who steal water from underground wells.

the land we live in is alive. summer isnt going to be pretty and fun. blisters and painful sunburns is to be expected. wild fires. and drought. this rain is onky preparing the land for the heat wave that is coming in july/june. humans need to follow the patterns of the wild animals. and migrate with them so we can survive all the storm this land and MEN create with their machines and polution.

Great to 👀 so many NEWER structures built BELOW Lake Shore Dr. 1980-81 water was lapping ONTO the pavement & DESTROYED most wooden, 1 cinder block 🏠 on lake side withstood the crashing waves of water. I believe level rose to 1169'. Overflow exited THROUGH town of Lake Elsinore. State Park was TOTALLY under water. KTLA will be coming back this time next year displaying the subsequent destruction.
