I honestly don't get what the deal is about CN Real, it was just an experiment with live action content, CN was not meant to be like Nick and Disney Channel, it's only a little experiment. That's it.
It’s because they cancelled some bangers of cartoons like Foster’s Home. They still had Chowder and Flapjack but they literally got cancelled when Cartoon Network started getting good with some MVPs like Regular Show, Gumball and Adventure Time.
It wasn’t just an experiment, it was WB being desperate for content. This was the time of the Writers strike and they had no one working on shows for almost a year. Now we’re gonna have another strike and who knows what’s gonna happen
It wasn't just an "experiment". They took up a vast majority of the schedule with it and cancelled a bunch of shows and blocks and replaced them with soulless imitation shows and blocks that housed nothing but the cheapest of Canadian animated children's TV garbage not even THEY look back fondly on just to boost CN Real's chances. Gotta increase that budget somehow, the cameras they got were great for filming SD Fridays segments in the mid 2000's, but not HD live action shows with explosions.
cartoon network was planning to turn boomerang into cn real in afternoons and boomerang rest till mornings so if yall didnt hate on it cartoon network would still be in its 2007-10 branding and idgaf if they canclled the shows but cn real shows were bad and the only one i liked were bobbie says but all yall see is "Cartoon network is cartoons but not live action" okay but what about a live action and cartoon show mixed together, some kids were spoiled and didnt deserve cartoon netwok
Well if we look at Nickelodeon and Disney, they had a good decent amount of live action shows, so that's why CN wanted to try it out and see if It can work out. But it didn't, at least they tried thier best.

Had they stayed more committed, they could’ve been number 1. But still to this day, they’re last place.
@@CVerse plus the Boston bomb scare

I actually loved Destroy Build Destroy, dude what would happen and the othersiders
You won't probably see this but
The othersiders is just niche and cheesy show about haunted houses. I've seen this many times.
Unnatural History, Tower Prep, Level Up!
They should have existed on a separate channel…
Well, yeah, it could’ve been a block. Like one hour of CN Real when you get back from school and the rest is just normal Cartoon Network.

Cool bumper, bad show. What a waste.
Cool bumper, live action on CARTOON network, what a waste.
This is why this is considered the darkest age for cartoon network from like 2009 to April 2010
What a dumb idea to bring live action shows to a cartoon channel

I’m sure Burger King thought it was dumb to sell more than burgers until they tried fries and it worked.
This bumper Creep out 0:20
