@@epilefng2694 If you dont care about raytracing and dlss i think yes. But i had a bad experience with AMD drivers once and i rather nvidia over AMD always, in my opinion is like a better buy

So slightly better but with a huge improvement in power efficiency. 4070S is definitely the better of the two but if you already have a 3080, it's not really worth it. This is more like a side-grade with minor upgrades than a full upgrade anyway. 4080S makes more sense if you wanna upgrade. What makes no sense it's the goddamn $1000+ price tag. 💀💀💀
When you turn on FG it's 50-100% better...
450euro vs 600euro in my case. Those 2 extra gb of vram are nice but I'm sure not paying a premium for a 12gb card.

You're running either an older cracked version of FH5 or the settings video is being reused, as FH5s video menu looks nothing like that now. Also it's really a staggering difference from my 3080 12gb Gaming Z Trio to that 10gb 3080 Suprim X, with the same CPU and same preset I got an average of 138fps compared to the 118fps you got. Just goes to show that the 3080 12gb is really not the same product as the regular 3080. Same 1995mhz frequency btw.
I reused old settings menu. Now i will update it in the next projects

Yes. 3080 has a 320 Bus vs 4070S with 192 Bus.
only real upgrade's for the 3080 are the Ti Super or 4080 Super this 4070S one just doesn't make sense, there too much alike
A 4070 Super is alike to a 3080… you do realize that’s a good thing right? It’s not a 4080 it’s a 4070. 3080s cost more than a 4070 super new.
@@TonyisToking Not in the Used market. I got my 3080 for 300 vs $600 for 4070S which is 2x the price and performs the same in some games. The card that will be worth upgrading from a 3080 is not 4070S. It would be a 4070Ti 16GB or 4080 to make it worth the leap and money spent.
Its also worth noting the 3080 has more Cuda Cores and a bigger BUS at 320 vs 192 with the 4070S.

@@w9s992 no, for gaming, the 4000 series is optimized being newer gen, but for rendering/video/processing power cuda cores and bus speed makes a difference.
Whaaat in Cyberpunk the 3080 beats the 4070S Lmaoooooooooooooo ok scratch upgrading to a 4070S.. i will see no difference till I upgrade to a 4070Ti Super 16Gb at least.

@@TheSEWEGI How does it make them assholes? You do realize they added tensor cores to facilitate FG. Meaning it wouldn’t perform as well on 3000 and 2000 series cards anyway. My guess is they didn’t want that to take away from how impressive FG is with the tensor cores needed to support it. You do realize your GPU is rendering your game AND rendering separate frames that are completely made up. That isn’t something a normal GPU can do well. If you don’t believe me try AMD FSR Frame Gen on any 4000 series GPU and compare the results to Nvidia Frame Gen.
