If canada pick klimkait again it’s just ridiculous
It's only ridiculous if you believe the best person (Deguchi) should be the one to go, which is what normal people believe. It's not ridiculous if you believe they're intentionally favoring Klimkait, which it seems they do. Almost like they're waiting for the very first opportunity for Klimkait to get any type of edge in so they feel justified in picking her, in a way they absolutely will not give to Deguchi.
Deguchi can't afford to lose at the world championships next week, or at the very least, can't afford to place lower than Klimkait.
@@r.s.819sorry for my english and for my question. I don‘t understand than why Canada was asking Christa since her High School years to compete for them. First Christa denied but then in College years she change her mind. Canada was „waiting“ for her. And now, they don‘t want her in Olympics? I‘m confused. Thank you for the answer.
Totally agree with you on the comment about standards.
Btw Dakiage is still a forbidden move.
I'm a humble fan of this channel and I really love ❤️
Thank you so much for your great videos 🙏
Amazing Judo from the Italians! I love it! Let's gooo! Thank you!
Lombardo gold 🔥🇮🇹🥇
Lombardo is my pick at the Olympics
@@JudoHighlights2015 agreed
crap tho when fighters go to ground, that technique rightly punishes them for it, its not in the spirit of judo to fall over on purpose, and ruins it for spectators. rules where changed with regard to leg grabs to make judo more standup
Talibov tried to counter Abdulaev's Tomoe Nage, that's why he tried to show control/force, I don't see reason for hansoku make there, it wasn't just a slam out of bad sportsmanship. Same with Tushishvili.
I can’t remember what I said, but I don’t think it’s not sportsmanlike, just against the rules
@@JudoHighlights2015 Yeah I get it, but that's what I'm arguing that I don't see it as illegal. When they slam after pick up on armlock, or when they do it out of bad sportsmanship, it's different, I see this one as trying to throw.

Kind of like this counter (even though I don't agree with scoring such things, but anything to avoid spamming sutemi waza)
@@JudoHighlights2015I think the reason given on the rules for why it is illegal is that it is unsportsmanlike. Same reason you have to put people down gently after standing up to escape a juji.
@@juiy222 Juji is bit different, they usually get slammed onto head directly, also if you pick them up, it's automatic mate, so there is no reason to be slamming your opponent. But if you are trying to apply a throw (whether it will be counted), you are allowed to apply that force.
love the analysis
I thought Yang would win in the final.
The result was unexpected, but the ground fighting was good and thrilling.
