Excellent lecture, thank you I was diagnosed with oral cancer on Jan 2021 went thru operation, free flap nd neck dissection followed by 6 weeks radiotherapy nd 2 sessions of kimo, finished treatment April 2021, dealt with all the short term side effects and still dealing with the long sides effects, had 4 tongue biopsies within last 5 month, false positive biopsy result was tongue sarcoma, but overruled by sarcoma specialist , I'm under seveylance nd being monitored by sarcoma specialist foreseeable future, cancer sox and it rocks your life, I have a cecepted my faith and I'm at God's mercy... Peace nd light to all the sufferers.
I smoked for many years and paid the price. Parts of my gums, tongue, throat and jaw. This was back in Oct of 21. I'm now over a year clean but you know how that goes. If I have to do battle again so be it. Thanks for the info but a little too late for me. I'm glad your helping others. Thanks.
I m a non smoker and don t drink and I had a very early cancer on my hard palate in a salivatory gland. An ent removed it and it fortunately didnt come back.
Back in 2005, I had this little white irritating lesion toward the back of the tongue.I am not a smoker. My doctor, doctors from 13:46 looked and didn't know what it was. A recommended ENT said it was nothing, but I persisted. I had some biopsies come back as leukoplakia and when I saw my dentist, he looked and turned ghostly white. He recommended a oral surgeon he knew. A year went by but I had biopsies done and this tumor was gray and squishy. Feb.14th 2008 I got the news. A portion of back tongue was removed. Then very aggressive radiation for months. Met my birth sisters that year and one had similar complaints-she put it off and it ravaged her mouth and jaw. She did not make it. Early detection is the only reason I am here blessed with 16 years of survival! I have jaw necrosis and my teeth that crumbled after initial treatment had crowns and they are now breaking off on a whim but I am alive!
Your Generosity towards curing my infection called HPV virus is Incomparable. You assured me of gotten healed and surprisingly after 2 months of taking the medication I tested fibroid Negative. Thanks Dr Ogoh, I will keep letting the world know about your UA-cam channel 🍄🍄🎁 thanksdoc

Can Oral cavity cancers and smoking 23 years earlier still be the cause?
Is leukoplakia a death sentence and doesn't it always lead to cancer

Everyone quit smoking but cancer is on the rise. I'm still trying to figure that one out. Maybe all the nicotine was poisoning the cancer like chemo?
Can vaping cause oral cancer?

Unfortunately😢
What really causes the mouth cancer?
