Minnehaha Falls is a 53-foot waterfall in Minnehaha Regional Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The falls are located at the intersection of Hiawatha Avenue and Minnehaha Parkway. The park overlooks the Mississippi River and features limestone bluffs and river overlooks. There's no charge to view the falls or enjoy the park.
Minnehaha Falls has been a popular draw for residents and tourists. It was immortalized as the "laughing water" in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1855 poem The Song of Hiawatha.
