2:43:00 Cushing Reflex: -respi center afftected in the brainstem -respi goes down (dec respiration) -build up of CO2 - CO2 causes vasodilation in brain -brain has inc cranial pressure due to dialated veins -CPP=MAP-ICP -since ICP is increased, to mantain CPP, heart increases SBP to increase MAP in brain (Hypertension) -to maintain CO heart will slow down (brady)
Thank you for taking time to explain some of the difficult and confusing topics in a simple way. I sorta teared up when you went over the eye stuff (I find that topic very intimidating) @9:58:20 😭🙏🏽
Weber Syndrome- crus cerebri:- Ipsilateral Oculomotor (CN 3) nerve palsy, contralateral hemiparesis. Also seen :- babinski, spastic paresis, hyperreflexia In weber syndrome, a stroke of paramedian branches of the posterior cerebral aretery affect the cerebral peduncle containing the corticospinal tract and the neighboring oculomotor nerve. Patients typically present with ipsilateral oculomotor nerve palsy (eg. diplopia, ptosis, primary. gaze palsy, pupillary constriction deficits) and contralateral hemiparesis with an upper motor neuron pattern of dysfunction.
Dr Nandan I am annotating and following First Aid 2022, not 2025 is there a big difference am I missing anything important I don’t have first aid 2024? Pl let me know
its a read along, the concept is that when people who have been out of practice or have a hard time getting through the material, reading along with someone else is easier for them.
Concepts will be the same but the high yield differs, so you can understand topics here if it helps but not sure if those topics are high yield for NEET PG.I have no clue about NEET PG sorry
@MissionNeetPgMarch hi , I have seen someAIIMS students who scored an AIRtop 50 promote this book , saying this book is all you need for like 8 subjects . For more details go see dr Aditiya Sanjay Gupta s video on first aid for neet pg . Hope it helps
Without any doubt you should go for this book for indian pg exam and must for inicet/aiims. Your basics should be strong before you read this book. You can expect 100+ questions from 700 pages of first aid.
