But this is just for Shiori. It could be that cover corp is expecting a certain baseline level of "idol" stuff, like a baseline amount of songs and what not, and it just so happens that right now Shiori is fitting that, so her manager does not need to even ask her or anything. Also, this is just Shiori's experience as of now. It could be not the same for the others, could be different in the future. I still think whats happened this year is something worth being worried about, as far as worrying about things being worth it goes. 4 large and veteran talents leaving in the same year is honestly incredibly unprecendented in hololive history. Quite a few have cited either management or company direction as the reason why they are leaving. Im not going to get into detail here, but I personally would be surprised if graduations stopped at Fauna.

People already trying to make wild speculations like saying Kiara had a Holo lawyer show up at her home or the weird baseless DEI/Blackrock/Vanguard narrative. Fauna was really the only one that said "management" was her reason for leaving. The others this past yr was either termination for leaked company info, family changes, the companies new direction or health issues caused by the increase in workload.

Kiara had a good talk aswell sadly it was members stream but she did talk on the topic for like 45mins~,and said she yapped for too long and was glad its a members stream xD Welp ppl already shared around the stuff she spoke about but just some highlights that ppl like to throw around is the fault of being public and she pretty much straight up denied that in a roundabout way ofc also stuff like its game perms since fauna is a gamer kirin but also isnt true and said its much easier to get game perms today then it was 2years ago and various other stuff that dont just paint the wall in black and white.... And in the end i will believe Kiara way faster then anyone else since she is known to be vocal when things aint alright.

What happened is that while looking for all of the fish on the signs she kept bumping into the A-chan turtle by accident, she wanted to address the situation from the start of the stream but the A-chan thing gave her a good transition into it.
Knowing Shiori's previous identity and all the shit that she has gone through, it's not surprising that she has such a nuance and positive take on the whole thing. Also, it's good to know that she feels in control of her activity, a luxury that she couldn't afford in her past self. I'm still recovering from the shock, so clips like these instead of the finger pointing are what I need the most right now.

She was forced to make asmr videos despite not liking it. She had a colleague who was forced to make a fake let's play videos. She made many assets for her vids (this was an era before streamer vtubers became popular) that ended up scrapped by the group. She was forced to take collabs and play games she was not interested in. Her private twitter even mentioned that she got into "dark thoughts" at that time (and this was before incidents like Zaion, Selen, and Wactor made the fans aware of talents abuse by companies). Suffice to say, she know how it feels to be in an abusive company/group so it speaks volume when she chose Holo in the end.
I wish this side of her got clipped more, I enjoy her unhinged stream of thought and snark/banter but clippers tend to do it in a one note way. It really under sells how nuanced and mature Shiori is.
Shiori might lowkey be the oldest Holomem in real life, and it shows from how she handles difficult situations. Her maturity is earned with blood, sweat, and tears in the past.

Henma(Shiori’s manager) also managed Ame who as we know also always did things her Ameway, and left on a more positive note. Henma can’t control what the company wants, but it seems like they are doing their best too. Management has issues, but it’s many different people involved managing over 80 talents.
And i feel the problems that the management go could be much more complicated than what it seems They are professionals i know, but they are human and there is only so much they could do Not to mention, bureocracy is a real pain regardless of the place and work and i feel that for those problems to fulyl vanish, it would require a huge overhaul on the bureocracy system

If a disaster befalls your account, you have no time to make it up because retirement will be upon you, so older investors are always told to grow more and more cautious as they age. Businesses are often tempted to do the same thing. Companies like IBM and Intel midwifed the digital age and boomed as a result, but then they stagnated because their leadership became cautious and timid. You can't take over the world with timidness, and you definitely can't maintain control of the world with timidness. If you have Kiara's membership, you can check out her latest watchalong. It basically nails down how reasons for graduation is not as simple as everybody thinks and each circumstance is unique. Some people will leave because it's not a good fit for them anymore, and that is okay and normal just like in other companies. Also nobody is forced to do anything (even participation at FES) which confirms other member's statements.

@@lunarath1 If there's any difference in contracts within the company it'd probably between branches or between subgroups like Holostars or DEV_IS. I seriously doubt that any of the EN girls have separate contracts. Everyone's speculating it's shareholders pressuring Cover to focus more on Concerts, but I think the uncomfortable truth is that Cover is just in a much different place now than it was even when EN first started out. They aren't the plucky underdog throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks anymore, they're an international media company that's leading a now well-established industry. That likely means new rules and ways of doing things, and even if they're all totally necessary/unavoidable changes not everyone is going to like them (especially if you joined during the older "wild west" period). Sometimes neither side has the luxury of compromising on a matter of policy, and you have no choice but to part ways.
Fauna maybe gone soon but we seriously should cherish those that are still around. They're working hard to entertain us. Nothing last forever and that's the beauty of it. All we have is what's between a hello and good bye, we might as well stay positive and enjoy the ride rather than being gloomy about it.

Practically impossible. As iceran mentioned, Holos (and other corpo members) don't interact with former members (including former members of other companies) on their corporate accounts. That said, if Shiori has another identity not tied to Holo, she could use that. Similar to how Axel and Altare hopped on their PLs to complete Team Snake Bite when Doki had just relaunched in February.

Shiori, Kiara, Laplus, and Pekora really helped me understand the situation with their statements recently. At the end of the day, it really is just a difference in what people want to do because lots of them made it clear that they are fine with how things are.
The bottom line is when a group gets this large (90+ talents), some people are not going to be happy with some aspects of it. It's just the law of averages. You can't make everyone happy. Some people will like the way its going and stick around, others will strike out on their own because they aren't happy with it. Just how it goes.
This is actually a great clarification, addressing a main point from doomposters too, I doubt Hololive became insane and think they can all fit in the same mold and make one kind of content only because I was charmed precisely with how unique they can be, specially Shiori, she's special! I can't wait to see what she's cooking because so far it's been great!
Shiori is my kamioshi and honestly I was silently concerned about the future, but she addressed everything perfectly. For those who don't know, by no exaggeration Shiori has the most experience in dealing with Japanese corporate management out of any EN VTuber in the industry, and there is literally no comparison. If there's anyone to trust in talking about management conditions, it's her. For her disclaimer of being bad at talking about these things, she actually did a great job, tangents included of course lol I really appreciate Shiori's words here and honestly never expected her to talk this bluntly about it. It's wonderful and somewhat surprising to hear they aren't obligated to perform any idol activities, and makes it all the more impressive how much she has put into learning dancing and singing to keep doing covers! I'm really happy that she enjoys it because I love the style she has developed.
I can always trust Shiorin in that she won't blow smoke up my ass in circumstances like this. She can't be bothered to. She's seen the this-and-that before, and follows her own star.

These are one of the main reasons why Shiori is my kamioshi. But I have had thoughts on this whole situation. Hololive is getting big. They are becoming more well known and have done some big events, projects, concerts. Hell, the freakin' collaboration with the LA Dodgers happened. Every time I think about it I still can't believe that happened. Naturally, things will eventually change and sometimes they don't match the views for certain individuals. Whatever the reason for either Fauna or Chloe not seeing eye-to-eye with management might differ from everyone else. Whatever changes that affected them personally might be different from everyone else. That is the only thing I can merely say COULD be a possibility. And that, unfortunately, how that line of work tends to go down. But even then, what's done is done. For the time being, cherish the memories watching your favorite talent/oshi. Cliche as it sounds, don't be sad it will be over, be happy that you witnessed someone you adore become someone you cheered. And another thing I will say, which has been a common theme as of lare, and will be the only thing I will say to give some sort of bright side: one chapter ends, another begins.

I think when it comes to advent and Justice, auditions were made with cover's New direction in mind. So they probably hired the talents knowing what kind of focus they wanted to have. With promise and myth. The chances of the direction being different at the time is bigger.
Just last year I was thinking how busy the EN girls must be after the Covid lockdowns ended. 3D debuts, holofes, the holosummer splash party which included two group original songs and a karaoke relay, then the first EN concert. It was amazing but if schedules like that are what Cover wants going forward, it's no wonder some of the talents are deciding to part ways.
@@TheSkyheart5 It's hard to say really. Cover and HL from 2019 was a lot different than Cover and HL now. Despite everything that's happened recently with all the graduations and such, for the most part I would say it's been better for the talent and fans. We've gotten a lot of amazing collabs and projects that happened this year that simply wasn't feasible a few years back. Like with HLGTA we got cross generational and branch collabs with interactions. I think the reality is that things are changing and some of the talents and even managers will simply move on because they want what's best for themselves. It sucks for the fans, but i'd rather the talents be able to leave on their own terms and pursue their own personal goals than to feel like they're forced to be tied down to something they no longer want to be part of.
Basically. People forget just HOW much Cover used to play things by ear (to mixed results), and the early days of the EN branch especially were infamously chaotic. There was definitely some sort of internal vibe shift, and if I had to guess it probably started to really solidify some time after Tempus HQ debuted. That rough timeline would line up pretty well with most of the graduations from Magni and Vesper onward as the majority of them have been talents who joined during that general "era" of Hololive and all of them have expressed some level of dissatisfaction with the current direction/management style/complained about the restrictions of corpo life. You can tell by the debut streams alone that there's a massive difference between the Myth's internal pre-debut experience versus Advent and Justice's likely internal pre-debut experience.
@@Sweld549 for sure.there's much more preparation now. and i'm pretty sure yagoo is aware of the effects of the changes, he has said a few times now that he wants to slow down debuting new talents, and focusing more on the talent they have. aside from DEV_IS, that is basically an idol group branch now. he is probably trying to ensure they lose the least amount of people.

Shiori is really good at just being herself. Her personality somehow reassures people when they hear her speak about topics like these and I'm grateful for those words. The doom posting is kinda like a plague cause in the beginning I didn't want to think management was the problem, but seeing other people's comments made me fall into that "doom" line of thinking. Many holo members have spoken out about this topic so I'm very grateful for them to be able to speak out about this to reassure us. I believe in the talents' words the most.
It's good that Shiori gave valuable context, it's hard not to doompost after what Fauna and Altare said recently. Good to know that they're not being forced into idol content, as as always we gotta be grateful for Henmama being such a good manager
Regardless of what happens, I hope the best for all the girls. They're what makes Hololive great. Not the other way around. I'm glad she and many others are happy, but it's hard not to remember a time when the others said the same. And now... we're here.
I think the biggest shock of Fauna leaving is there felt like very little warning to it. She had her moments of absence but she was always entertaining and she always had incredible CCV. Aqua and Chloe were understandable, Amelia had a noticeable dip in enthusiasm, but Fauna? Definitely feels like one of the most sudden and most painful graduation I've experienced in the past 6 years of being a viewer.
Appreciate Shiori providing this clarification and reassurance. One thing I consider re: Fauna departing is that it would have been almost as bad even if it had been after 10 years. The saplings are unusually dedicated. Doomposting about Hololive as a whole as a side effect of Fauna graduating is probably just channeling some of that energy.
I like shiori for how she wants to take her path not influenced by others content or being an idol. She prefers to do her own thing even irl with stories of her going out with advent and dissapearing into a store by herself.
I love Shiori so much, recent news made me understand that I have to appreciate my Oshi more, because we didn't know when she leave and it always would be sooner than we think. Fauna is one of my favourites and it's devastating, I now know what other people felt when her oshis retired, and I really want to fix this, but... there is nothing we can do.
Coming back to Ame's aquarium was a very comfortable place to go back to as it helped me feel a little bit better about Ame graduating. I don't think anything anyone could say could make me happy about this situation though unless it's the company making some kind of statement that they're going to do better than this.

I think it depends on people, how do the talent communicate with their manager and how do their manager communicate with the management. For the known information, there is not force on accepting any jobs, but once you accepted the job, you must finish it and sometime it is difficult to adjust. So parts of miscommunication/understanding between talent -->manager --> management will affect different people experience a lot. Chloe look like someone who do not know how to reject. And other member like Susie, Subaru all mention the importance of knowing how to reject.
In the wider context, I think the issue was the sheer amount of graduations in such a short span of time especially ones as significant as Ame and Fauna (one day after Chloe) and how Cover handles announcements in general. I truly believe that the grievances various talents have had at different points come down mostly to individual managers or staff members, without getting into any specific speculation anyone who followed EN closely over the last 4 years is certainly aware of these cases. Of course, the talents should be allowed to leave when they want, and apparently Promise knew about Fauna grad for a while, so maybe this was just a horrible coincidence or "ripping off the bandaid" but you would think Cover could have seen it paints a bad picture and try to space it out differently, the panic and doomposting went too far but this has always been an issue with how Cover announces things. They say to not speculate but be incredibly vague and leave far too much open to speculation so it's kind of inevitable that it would build up into this massive stir which unfortunately led to many questioning if other talents will be leaving. Going foward I think it would be best if Cover avoided vague blanket statements, one such example was Mel's termination which although was purely an unfortunate event, caused a massive amount of undue confusion and anger that was completely preventable by having the pertinent information in the initial announcement. The difficulty is balancing that with talent privacy, providing a dignified exit and what the talent's themselves are okay with being said.
@@delta3039 I don't know if it's true so take it with 50 pinches of salt, but I saw mentioned a few times that apparently Fauna wanted to graduate around this time with her anniversary, and then Chloe wanted to graduate around this time because of health stuff, and the dates ended up right next to each other and they couldn't move them. Probably an example of some issues within the company with communication for this to happen in itself, but it made things look worse than they are (potentially, who knows).

She just debunked people's conspiracies that Hololive is forcing everyone to become more idol-like. Please, shut down those stupid claims wherever you see them because they seem to be just blind accusations with nothing behind them. People don't understand that "disagreement with management does not necessarily mean that management is doing something bad.
When I saw the news and others' reactions I got really bad anxiety leading to panic attacks because that on top of this year in general being really shitty for me, so this is what I needed. Thank you Shiori. Edit 2: The previous edit ruined the comment so I'll put my explanation in a reply instead.
Okay, I feel the need to clarify some things. 1) It was mostly the reactions from the community that gave me that anxiety, though the shock from the news itself did help a little. I'm autistic and sensitive to emotions so when I see that many people with that strong anger, it scares me. I have since stopped even lurking in reddit as a result. I thought the sub had learned its lesson from 2020 but I was wrong. 2) I have been dealing with a lot of shit offline, without which that anxiety would not have gotten that bad. And by a lot of shit, I mean serious shit. My therapist had to transfer me over to a different one (which I still haven't gotten an update from) because it's suspected I have PTSD, it's that bad. So this on top of all that would naturally send me over the edge. 3) I actually have been limiting my online activity and slowly fixing my bad online habits as a result of the above because I almost got sucked into a cult in a moment of weakness. I appreciate the concern but I already am trying to fix my problems. I'm sorry for not explaining myself well enough before, I was trying not to overshare in what was supposed to be a comment expressing gratitude to both Shiori and the clipper.

But this is just for Shiori. It could be that cover corp is expecting a certain baseline level of "idol" stuff, like a baseline amount of songs and what not, and it just so happens that right now Shiori is fitting that, so her manager does not need to even ask her or anything.
Also, this is just Shiori's experience as of now. It could be not the same for the others, could be different in the future.
I still think whats happened this year is something worth being worried about, as far as worrying about things being worth it goes. 4 large and veteran talents leaving in the same year is honestly incredibly unprecendented in hololive history. Quite a few have cited either management or company direction as the reason why they are leaving. Im not going to get into detail here, but I personally would be surprised if graduations stopped at Fauna.

@@evannz someone already mentioned it, she was a pioneer EN vtuber at that time but she debuted under a group (not a company) that was abusive towards her. She was forced to make asmr videos despite not liking it. She had a colleague who was forced to make a fake let's play videos. She made many assets for her vids (this was an era before streamer vtubers became popular) that ended up scrapped by the group. She was forced to take collabs and play games she was not interested in. Her private twitter even mentioned that she got into "dark thoughts" at that time (and this was before incidents like Zaion, Selen, and Wactor made the fans aware of talents abuse by companies). Suffice to say, she know how it feels to be in an abusive company/group so it speaks volume when she chose Holo in the end.

Henma can’t control what the company wants, but it seems like they are doing their best too. Management has issues, but it’s many different people involved managing over 80 talents.

If a disaster befalls your account, you have no time to make it up because retirement will be upon you, so older investors are always told to grow more and more cautious as they age.
Businesses are often tempted to do the same thing. Companies like IBM and Intel midwifed the digital age and boomed as a result, but then they stagnated because their leadership became cautious and timid. You can't take over the world with timidness, and you definitely can't maintain control of the world with timidness. This is the conundrum that all mature empires face: how do they maintain control while limiting risks? It's a balance of boldness versus caution that must be struck very finely. It basically nails down how reasons for graduation is not as simple as everybody thinks and each circumstance is unique. Some people will leave because it's not a good fit for them anymore, and that is okay and normal just like in other companies.
Also nobody is forced to do anything (even participation at FES) which confirms other member's statements.

Older members might have different contracts. Maybe even the contracts from every newer talent these days might be different we don't know that.

Everyone's speculating it's shareholders pressuring Cover to focus more on Concerts, but I think the uncomfortable truth is that Cover is just in a much different place now than it was even when EN first started out. They aren't the plucky underdog throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks anymore, they're an international media company that's leading a now well-established industry. That likely means new rules and ways of doing things, and even if they're all totally necessary/unavoidable changes not everyone is going to like them (especially if you joined during the older "wild west" period). Sometimes neither side has the luxury of compromising on a matter of policy, and you have no choice but to part ways.
Fauna maybe gone soon but we seriously should cherish those that are still around. They're working hard to entertain us. Nothing last forever and that's the beauty of it. All we have is what's between a hello and good bye, we might as well stay positive and enjoy the ride rather than being gloomy about it.

Practically impossible. As iceran mentioned, Holos (and other corpo members) don't interact with former members (including former members of other companies) on their corporate accounts.
That said, if Shiori has another identity not tied to Holo, she could use that. Similar to how Axel and Altare hopped on their PLs to complete Team Snake Bite when Doki had just relaunched in February.

Shiori, Kiara, Laplus, and Pekora really helped me understand the situation with their statements recently. At the end of the day, it really is just a difference in what people want to do because lots of them made it clear that they are fine with how things are.
The bottom line is when a group gets this large (90+ talents), some people are not going to be happy with some aspects of it. It's just the law of averages. You can't make everyone happy. Some people will like the way its going and stick around, others will strike out on their own because they aren't happy with it. Just how it goes.

Shiori is my kamioshi and honestly I was silently concerned about the future, but she addressed everything perfectly. For those who don't know, by no exaggeration Shiori has the most experience in dealing with Japanese corporate management out of any EN VTuber in the industry, and there is literally no comparison. If there's anyone to trust in talking about management conditions, it's her. For her disclaimer of being bad at talking about these things, she actually did a great job, tangents included of course lol
I really appreciate Shiori's words here and honestly never expected her to talk this bluntly about it. It's wonderful and somewhat surprising to hear they aren't obligated to perform any idol activities, and makes it all the more impressive how much she has put into learning dancing and singing to keep doing covers! I'm really happy that she enjoys it because I love the style she has developed.

That's why I don't post or say anything when I'm upset. I just let things sit in for a while. It's okay to be sad. It's okay to feel anxious. But let yourself breathe first. Let things sink in. Don't let yourself be cornered by despairing thoughts. Breathe. We are all sad.
These are one of the main reasons why Shiori is my kamioshi. But I have had thoughts on this whole situation.
Hololive is getting big. They are becoming more well known and have done some big events, projects, concerts. Hell, the freakin' collaboration with the LA Dodgers happened. Every time I think about it I still can't believe that happened. Naturally, things will eventually change and sometimes they don't match the views for certain individuals.
Whatever the reason for either Fauna or Chloe not seeing eye-to-eye with management might differ from everyone else. Whatever changes that affected them personally might be different from everyone else. That is the only thing I can merely say COULD be a possibility. And that, unfortunately, how that line of work tends to go down.
But even then, what's done is done. For the time being, cherish the memories watching your favorite talent/oshi. Cliche as it sounds, don't be sad it will be over, be happy that you witnessed someone you adore become someone you cheered.
And another thing I will say, which has been a common theme as of lare, and will be the only thing I will say to give some sort of bright side: one chapter ends, another begins.

I think when it comes to advent and Justice, auditions were made with cover's New direction in mind. So they probably hired the talents knowing what kind of focus they wanted to have. With promise and myth. The chances of the direction being different at the time is bigger.
Just last year I was thinking how busy the EN girls must be after the Covid lockdowns ended. 3D debuts, holofes, the holosummer splash party which included two group original songs and a karaoke relay, then the first EN concert. It was amazing but if schedules like that are what Cover wants going forward, it's no wonder some of the talents are deciding to part ways.
@@TheSkyheart5 It's hard to say really. Cover and HL from 2019 was a lot different than Cover and HL now. Despite everything that's happened recently with all the graduations and such, for the most part I would say it's been better for the talent and fans. We've gotten a lot of amazing collabs and projects that happened this year that simply wasn't feasible a few years back. Like with HLGTA we got cross generational and branch collabs with interactions.
I think the reality is that things are changing and some of the talents and even managers will simply move on because they want what's best for themselves.
It sucks for the fans, but i'd rather the talents be able to leave on their own terms and pursue their own personal goals than to feel like they're forced to be tied down to something they no longer want to be part of.
Basically. People forget just HOW much Cover used to play things by ear (to mixed results), and the early days of the EN branch especially were infamously chaotic. There was definitely some sort of internal vibe shift, and if I had to guess it probably started to really solidify some time after Tempus HQ debuted. That rough timeline would line up pretty well with most of the graduations from Magni and Vesper onward as the majority of them have been talents who joined during that general "era" of Hololive and all of them have expressed some level of dissatisfaction with the current direction/management style/complained about the restrictions of corpo life. You can tell by the debut streams alone that there's a massive difference between the Myth's internal pre-debut experience versus Advent and Justice's likely internal pre-debut experience.
@@Sweld549 for sure.there's much more preparation now. and i'm pretty sure yagoo is aware of the effects of the changes, he has said a few times now that he wants to slow down debuting new talents, and focusing more on the talent they have. aside from DEV_IS, that is basically an idol group branch now. he is probably trying to ensure they lose the least amount of people.

Shiori is really good at just being herself. Her personality somehow reassures people when they hear her speak about topics like these and I'm grateful for those words.
The doom posting is kinda like a plague cause in the beginning I didn't want to think management was the problem, but seeing other people's comments made me fall into that "doom" line of thinking. Many holo members have spoken out about this topic so I'm very grateful for them to be able to speak out about this to reassure us. I believe in the talents' words the most.

I think the biggest shock of Fauna leaving is there felt like very little warning to it. She had her moments of absence but she was always entertaining and she always had incredible CCV. Aqua and Chloe were understandable, Amelia had a noticeable dip in enthusiasm, but Fauna? Definitely feels like one of the most sudden and most painful graduation I've experienced in the past 6 years of being a viewer.
Appreciate Shiori providing this clarification and reassurance.
One thing I consider re: Fauna departing is that it would have been almost as bad even if it had been after 10 years. The saplings are unusually dedicated. Doomposting about Hololive as a whole as a side effect of Fauna graduating is probably just channeling some of that energy.
alot of the doom posting is Anti's and the like taking advantage of fans being emotional and fanning the flames to attack holo talents

I like shiori for how she wants to take her path not influenced by others content or being an idol. She prefers to do her own thing even irl with stories of her going out with advent and dissapearing into a store by herself.

I love Shiori so much, recent news made me understand that I have to appreciate my Oshi more, because we didn't know when she leave and it always would be sooner than we think. Fauna is one of my favourites and it's devastating, I now know what other people felt when her oshis retired, and I really want to fix this, but... there is nothing we can do.
Coming back to Ame's aquarium was a very comfortable place to go back to as it helped me feel a little bit better about Ame graduating.
I don't think anything anyone could say could make me happy about this situation though unless it's the company making some kind of statement that they're going to do better than this.

It leaves me to wonder what really is happening then? Shiori reassures she has a good amount of control of what content she wants to deliver, and kiara said something similar in a members stream. It probably is for the best to just let this pass by. But I just can’t help but wonder what Cover has in store, or what kind of regulations they have in place. Or maybe it’s as simple as the cycle of the working world. Leaving to find something better. Whatever it is, it won’t stop me from supporting the girls and Stars
I think it depends on people, how do the talent communicate with their manager and how do their manager communicate with the management.
For the known information, there is not force on accepting any jobs, but once you accepted the job, you must finish it and sometime it is difficult to adjust.
So parts of miscommunication/understanding between talent -->manager --> management will affect different people experience a lot.
Chloe look like someone who do not know how to reject. And other member like Susie, Subaru all mention the importance of knowing how to reject.
In the wider context, I think the issue was the sheer amount of graduations in such a short span of time especially ones as significant as Ame and Fauna (one day after Chloe) and how Cover handles announcements in general. I truly believe that the grievances various talents have had at different points come down mostly to individual managers or staff members, without getting into any specific speculation anyone who followed EN closely over the last 4 years is certainly aware of these cases.
Of course, the talents should be allowed to leave when they want, and apparently Promise knew about Fauna grad for a while, so maybe this was just a horrible coincidence or "ripping off the bandaid" but you would think Cover could have seen it paints a bad picture and try to space it out differently, the panic and doomposting went too far but this has always been an issue with how Cover announces things. They say to not speculate but be incredibly vague and leave far too much open to speculation so it's kind of inevitable that it would build up into this massive stir which unfortunately led to many questioning if other talents will be leaving.
Going foward I think it would be best if Cover avoided vague blanket statements, one such example was Mel's termination which although was purely an unfortunate event, caused a massive amount of undue confusion and anger that was completely preventable by having the pertinent information in the initial announcement. The difficulty is balancing that with talent privacy, providing a dignified exit and what the talent's themselves are okay with being said.
@@delta3039 I don't know if it's true so take it with 50 pinches of salt, but I saw mentioned a few times that apparently Fauna wanted to graduate around this time with her anniversary, and then Chloe wanted to graduate around this time because of health stuff, and the dates ended up right next to each other and they couldn't move them. Probably an example of some issues within the company with communication for this to happen in itself, but it made things look worse than they are (potentially, who knows).
i genuinely hate all the doomposting, they going wild with accusation. Even went as far as badmouthing other talent especially Fubuki for what she said back in the Coco Chama shenanigan

When I saw the news and others' reactions I got really bad anxiety leading to panic attacks because that on top of this year in general being really shitty for me, so this is what I needed. Thank you Shiori.

Okay, I feel the need to clarify some things.
1) It was mostly the reactions from the community that gave me that anxiety, though the shock from the news itself did help a little. I'm autistic and sensitive to emotions so when I see that many people with that strong anger, it scares me. I have since stopped even lurking in reddit as a result. I thought the sub had learned its lesson from 2020 but I was wrong.
2) I have been dealing with a lot of shit offline, without which that anxiety would not have gotten that bad. And by a lot of shit, I mean serious shit. My therapist had to transfer me over to a different one (which I still haven't gotten an update from) because it's suspected I have PTSD, it's that bad. So this on top of all that would naturally send me over the edge.
3) I actually have been limiting my online activity and slowly fixing my bad online habits as a result of the above because I almost got sucked into a cult in a moment of weakness. I appreciate the concern but I already am trying to fix my problems.
I'm sorry for not explaining myself well enough before, I was trying not to overshare in what was supposed to be a comment expressing gratitude to both Shiori and the clipper.

Whenever anything happens in *any* community, a lot of people will respond emotionally without thinking. As we have seen from previous incidents, they'll calm down and everything will get better. Don't sweat it.

Like many, I feel quite hurt but I think that the comments predicting who will leave have to stop... I loved Shiori's way of giving her opinion of the situation because the way she expressed herself felt very human, the most I have heard So far it has been said in a very "professional" way and I feel like that doesn't help much.
This is what needs to get spread around, not the doomposting. This is the honesty we need right now. Thank you Shiori.
