overwolf is an overlay program packaged with curseforge(a launcher for games with addons like wow, and minecraft) it's annoying that someone made a stats overlay that gets detected for WZ cause you have to make sure curseforge is off before loading WZ

Watching a streamer on kick yesterday dropping consistent 35+ kills doing this exact thing. Queued up with a level 7 player and when loaded in, the level 7 player backed out.

Most players don't run into many cheaters. As they are pushed into high skill lobbies by SBMM.
Some cheaters gave ways to get into less skilled lobbies at that us where you see them racking up 30+ kill games consistently.
Hopefully this channel along with xdefiant will push them to do as much as possible with cheaters and end EOMM

Tried playing today and I spend more time reporting and banning low level players than actually playing. The game is just rife with them now.

I had it when first came out. Pretty cool seeing who in your lobby and will tell you when there a suspected cheater. I don’t think having that is cheating or helps anyone’s gameplay
As someone that used Overwolf/R6 Tracker when playing Siege, the use of it should not be considered cheating. The act of using it to get easier lobbies and to queue dodge should be. Looking at stats on the players in a game isn't bad/cheating in an of itself.

It’s also used during the WSOW by teams to purposely farm kills in bot lobbies and they back out of it’s too hard.
@@CallofShame using it to find and farm bot lobbies is cheating, you’re right on that. Using it to read stats of the lobbies/players in general is not. Also, to get around this issue, Activision just needs to add a penalty for leaving the lobby if the game has already started (i.e. if they loading screen is over and they are actively in the plane)

Overwolf has a dozen different names for the same crap for a different game.
Also, world records don't count unless a rep from the record keeping company is present to observe the attempt and ensure no cheating is taking place.
So this is how you see a streamer getting high kill games without anyone fighting back!

This is why I play CoD on a console. I have tons of mod on my PC. Overwolf is Cursed Forge, used for Minecraft mod packs and mods many other games. I have countless mods for Bethesda games. Programs for modding and creating VR games. It’s literally all that’s on my PC. I never thought it would actually be a problem. My kids play Fortnite, Roblox, Rocket League, etc. on there and have never had a problem. Especially since they aren’t cheating. I just never wanted to play CoD on my PC. Where every other lobby has people calling people cheaters. I get reported on Xbox all the time. Having a PC automatically makes you guilty by association in a lot of people’s eyes. It’s one thing to mod Minecraft to have Pokémon. Those games are meant to mod. Cheating in a game like CoD is something I would never tolerate.

depends on where it pulls its KD data from that could be easy to spot people. cross reference people search the API with people IP's in a match then #rate limit them hard.
