The PLAN-demic is 1000% the work (attacks) of those who rule this world. Yes, there are rulers (or controllers, or a ruling clan if you will), and they control (all) money, media, and governments, and they have the motive, means, intent to attack the masses (whom they consider their slaves) with illness causing toxins, or biological agents. All their deception, and control is under their goal called New World Order (aka Brave New World, Tikkun Olam).

So tired of reading where Protestants and Sectarian Christians think Latter-day Saints are not Christian. Some of their ministers are partly responsible for this, and it’s really aggravating. Jesus Christ stands at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is His one, true Church on the earth.
In 1820, God and Christ both appeared to Joseph Smith.
On May 15, 1829, John the Baptist appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and conferred upon them the Aaronic Priesthood. He also Restored the Authority to baptize.
Shortly afterwards, Peter, James, and John appeared to them and conferred the Melchizedek Priesthood on them.
On April 3, 1836, Jesus Christ, as well as three Old Testament prophets, Moses, Elias, and Elijah, personally appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in the Kirtland Temple in Kirtland, Ohio. On this day, the Prophet Elijah fulfilled the prophecy concerning him in the Old Testament.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Joseph Smith was and is a true Prophet.

No pastor or any man of God is “above” the members. After being exposed to the truth for a few years I am a Baptist now and I am finally learning about Christ and have been born again. It was tough because the whole family was Mormon and I was disowned by them. I also appreciated that it was written from an unbiased standpoint and was purely recording history. Give it a read if you want to learn a little bit more about Mormonism.

growing up in a very mormon town as a catholic i felt suppressed. my family has been roman catholic for many generations and had no problems , they all had a strong faith and some were more strict than others. my family never forced me to go to church , but i firmly believe God is real and that he died for us. i believe he is watching us and guiding us and everything happens for a reason. i believe in prayer. my town is mostly mormon and growing up i missed out on many opportunities and friends because i wasn’t mormon. i was always asked to convert and told that im a walking sin. i missed out on sports because i wasn’t in any local wards and no one knew me.
it was terrible , if you weren’t mormon nobody cared about you.
i’ve told many of my former classmates the differences in the religions and they would get mad at me, my sister in law is an ex mormon and she always tells me how scary it was and how free she feels now.

He said that mormons are fake nice and underneath the facade are really hurting. Funny you brought up Mt Dew. Hi Syd, as a 52 yr old CHRIST Follower, I feel led to share how deeply this video has touched my spirit. One of your other videos showed up in my recommended videos which is ultimately how I found this video. In these dark and trying times, with so much hypocrisy, brainwashing and mind control, this video really warmed my heart. You are most certainly on HIS Chosen path! CHRIST quickened your spirit and you heeded HIS calling. You handled this most responsibly by doing your own, personal research by questioning everything, including the answers you were offered. You have been diligently seeking HIM, just as HE tells us to. You've given me a sense of hope for our future through your bold declaration of HIS Truth that few young adults these days care enough about to even ponder. For this, thank you! I applaud you and your dedication to the real TRUTH. HIS Word says that all things will be revealed. For this to happen, it takes diligence and hard work. Again, thank you, Sydney! THE LORD will continue to guide and protect you as long as HE is first in your life. HIS Word cannot and will not fail even though we fall short daily. I know HE is real and alive because HE stopped a bleeding artery within my brain on July 18, 1997! This testimony of mine is long and quite amazing! I function the same as you with regards to critical thinking, questioning everything and seeking HIS confirmation in all things. 🕊🦋🙏

      @danielleswensen1543 Рік тому

I'm not sure what your bf's mother went through. However, it sounds like a Temple recommend interview: as far as I know, the only couple or so questions out of many asked in an interview that have anything to do with sex is pretty much simply:
"Do you keep the law of chastity?"
No going into details unless you have something you personally feel you need to confess, just asking you if you keep to that higher standard. We're also asked if we keep the Word of Wisdom (in other words, refrain from alcohol, drugs and other harmful substances, coffee), if we're honest in our dealings (did you lie to someone or steal something that doesn't belong to you, etc) . . . Basically, the idea is: are we striving to be the best version of ourselves we can be, so that we can better prepare to enter the House of the Lord and receive inspiration from Him? (Which, it's the Temple - if it truly is the House of the Lord, if it's truly as close as we're going to get in this life to being in His presence, then what else would make sense than that we be at our best when we enter it?)
Otherwise, the only other things I could think of as to why she was talking to her bishop about her sex life are these two possibilities: either 1) she was having sex outside of marriage or engaging in some sort of inappropriate activity, and was confessing to her bishop (which you should do out of personal choice, not out of forceful coercion, even though it is part of the repentance process), or 2) she had a judgmental bishop. I can't judge either way, but if it's the latter, that's on the Bishop, not the Church, for not properly fulfilling or understanding his calling and stewardship. My family have had a couple of bishops like that, but most of our bishops were loving, welcoming, and respectful.
(Of course, there's always the third possibilitythat he, himself, was a creepy guy, but again, that's on him - with the added note that the consequence for such leaders would usually be communication).
Anyway, hope that provides some insight.

@@danielleswensen1543 and one of your points you mentioned if the bishop was being creepy that's on him not the church but one thing I know is they always " call people to positions" and the men of the church were guided by God to call that dude as the bishop.. that is how the Mormon Church works!
I am speaking from personal experience and I was asked questions about oral sex as the church used to say that was a sin but they have since changed their position on that.

Thanks for sharing! Awesome testimony! I appreciate your genuine quest for truth, the belief that real truth will always hold up under scrutiny or test, and the comparison between Christianity and Mormonism, as well as the research on LDS history, the cultural uncomfortables, and the encouragement for others on this kind of remaking journey. I especially appreciate the focus on true relationship with God above all else. That the journey is not about leaving God, but rather about finding God in the truest and purest way instead of being pressured to believe in a form of God you are not allowed to understand or ask genuine questions about or should I say a religion pushing a view of God which is said to be above any question. I also believe that controlled research, narrowed by an organization is dangerous. Freedom to search for truth and to use our minds while led by God’s Spirit is essential. Living with constant blinders on is not healthy or of God, I believe, and it can pretty much justify any religion or belief system. If asking questions is evil or not allowed and no other source is safe you are pretty much pushed to not see beyond what you are told by others. Not allowed to engage the mind God has given us or to trust His leading rather than man’s leading. You could just as easily be a Muslim or Buddhist or any other religion or cult by that method.
In my gospel ministry we focus on following God’s truth as revealed in scripture and letting the Lord God be our ultimate teacher and Guide. We are to connect and relate with Him learning of Him to follow Him. Following men rather than God is a recipe for disaster and disappointment. So, we must seek God and follow Him. Jesus Christ is very clear about that! :) (ex. Mark 7:1-23)
God bless you in Christ Jesus!
PS - I find it compelling evidence on the real nature, character, and origin of Mormonism that the end goal is Godhood (I’ve studied this a bit before). This was the goal of Lucifer or Satan, and it is the precise point on which he led mankind into sin (Genesis 3:1-5). He said Ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (if they would eat the forbidden fruit and disobey God himself). His bait was to suggest a path to godhood by making our own laws or rules. He gave man the idea that man could be god, when the Bible is crystal clear that there is only one God, and not another. So a faith promoting the goals and suggestions of Lucifer is definitely on dangerous or sinister ground. (Though many sincerely are not realizing it) Though I imagine the church at least says to obey the God they are promoting.

So proud of you for sharing your story. Everyone is going to have their own opinions when it comes to religion, you have to do with what you feel is right. I stand with you through this 100%

watched the whole video and i am truly amazed by you! this is such an incredible reminder of God’s goodness and sovereignty. He lifted you out of mormonism and brought you into the light and truth of the Gospel. Praise God for that!!
How have you gone about telling you dad what you now believe? Has he been understanding about your concerns about the church and how it contradicts itself? I am praying for peace and discernment as you navigate through this time. 🤍

My journey was very similar to yours. I never went through the endowment sessions or went through a temple sealing, thank goodness. I'm 22 and I stopped going to church last July. I've been going through the grieving process and it has been tough. Thank you for sharing

It’s important to remember that the facsimiles that were found by Joseph Smith weren’t translations, they were explanations. It says so in the Pearl of Great Price. He wasn’t telling us what it says but what it means (“explanation”). There’s a difference. If that’s on the CES letter and that can be proven wrong by scholars then what else on the CES letter is wrong? It goes both ways if anything.

It’s incredible to hear your story and journey, as a Christian I’ve heard many versions of other religions teaching supposed truths with no actual evidence and many of them too- looked towards Christianity and the bible for help. I hope that your journey provides you comfort and the answers you seek and I am sure eventually you will find them and find peace within yourself too. God is forever forgiving, he does not expect us to be perfect for we are human, but he sent his son Jesus down to earth and died on the cross for us, so that our sin would be washed away. I am so proud of you, no matter what path you take, what religion you follow, be true to yourself- that is where you will find yourself. For now though I thank you for sharing your story, I am praying for your health and journey! God bless :)
