Most bosses (or even some enemies for that matter) have rush attacks like the one artemis does at 6:00 that can be grabbed by Nero. Anyways nice job with the run, this must've took a crapton of time to make
You can grab Artemis out of that?! I obviously knew about Vergil, does that work against Goliath as well when he sprints toward Nero? I knew about a lot of those attacks being grabbable in dmc4 but I never even thought to try in 5 haha that's so cool
8:19 imagine coding in an entire phase for a boss only for literally no one to see even on the highest difficulty and learning about it years later by an extreme challenge run on max difficulty Like Wtf were they thinking did they really think it was gonna take us 15 minutes to kill this thing

I wonder if anyone had ever actually discovered that before lol
Just a little tip for anyone else looking to do this sort of challenge You can still attack without weapons while taunting with every character, and I don't mean like Nero's dropkick, but legit taunting and still being able to use his ghost punch, Dante's summoned swords, Vergil with both summoned swords & his doppleganger, and V (obviously)
Yep! I opted for a pure 'no weapons equipped' sorta thing with Dante but his Four Handed swords certainly would have been fine to use for the challenge, just to take the edge off.

Hahaha thank you! It's true the only real thing that changes between SOS and DMD is the damage, I just figured it was already an absurd challenge, so why not see just how absurd I can take it lol.
A while ago, I *started* a similar challenge. Basically just not allowed to press the sword/shadow and the gun/griffon buttons, but with each character’s special button (style/breaker/cane) being allowed. Big difference compared to this was that I chose to go through SOS *on a fresh save file.* As a result, I knew that the challenge was flat out impossible in the Prologue from lack of any option beyond dropkick (so no way to hit the green buggers). I quit at Mission 3’s boss because it was just way too tedious.
That's an interesting idea! I think the prologue might actually be possible just from playing around with it in my head tho! So after the green empusa heal someone, they come down to the ground to suck up blood and get their regenerative properties back, and that might be what you need to get a dropkick in and stun them to death.
Damn I thought the same and tried it with human difficulty 😂 still it was so hard and we need soooo much patience to do that I left it on second mission lol. You really are hardworking you deserve a sub ❤ lots of love and support from me 💗
