Hyundai have come a long way. Looking much more attractive and higher quality than 10 years ago. The Korean industry in general is really improving - look at the Samsung phones of 10 years ago, and 15 years ago someone would have laughed if you said that Samsung TVs would become desirable
South Korea is becoming a very strong country. They aren't just good at video games, they are slowly starting to be good at EVERYTHING! I served there for 4 years and all of my jackets, suits, shoes, and technology is Korean made and everyone I come across is blown away. Was only a matter of time until they made a great car that was fun to drive and a practical purchase. I am very satisfied with my purchase of the 2017 Elantra Sport =]]]
I just bought a '16 elantra gt. This is really nice looking car. If they put this engine, wheels, and suspension set up in the hatchback body, I'd trade mine in for that in a heartbeat
Im thinking about leasing one really soon. This car looks even better with some tint on it. Cant wait to get it, just saving up some more money for the payments!
I test drove a manual sport today . Very impressive for the price it's in extremely good looking car inside and out very solid the only thing that I don't like is that it seems a little lacking in power for the rated 201 hp . It's by no means slow it just seems like it could be a little faster for what it's rated .
bad weather prevented us from doing it...... GRRRRR but right now i will be asking another journalist to lend me the car for 5 min to go film it... expect that in January
Soooo i recently picked up a used 2017 Elantra sport and it does not have a sun roof. Ummm, i thought it was standard in all the sport models? What's the deal?
I wonder how the factory tires work in the snow? I have a 2015 Limited and the factory tires sucked in the snow. I’m thinking about trading for the new sport to get the new multi link rear and the Turbo motor.
Korean cars have come a long way and I feel one day they'll be ahead of the Japanese. Korean cars are a lot more stylish and European looking. Once they improve the dynamics I think they'll do very well.
Larpy Hyundai/Kia has former head designer from Audi and now has a former Bmw M Performance engineer. You are right, it's only a matter of time they will come out ahead. Reliability + European looks and driving dynamics = Win
Same here!!!! Hopefully the Sport is available with the Red Leather interior option that is seen in the UK and Australia. I checked with my local dealership in Alabama and it has not yet arrived. They said an ETA for early spring for us.
