In terms of sound I liked these headphones and they almost reminded me of some of the 2010's Sony headphones with the extra bass and top end, all while having mids that didn't sound too scooped either. However, the earpads never could seal easily for my head, and I eventually moved onto something more sturdy as within a couple months the height adjustment had loosened up. The plastic headband also had a stress point when taking them off and on which started to bend and (from looking online) may even snap if I kept using them...
I like this AKG 371. One of the few that I can rely on its tonality to not only edit but master with as well although i prefer teh Brainwavez hard velour? or micro velour pads to enhance the tuning a tad
I like the sound of the 372, but I hate the cord. It pokes out so long that it scratches on my shoulder and makes a rumbling noise all the time. I have thought about spinning that can around to get the cable pointing up instead. But I guess it will just poke into the headband. Any thought about how to fix that issue?

hey, buddy! just came across your channel while looking for a repair solution for my k371's hinge. it's a pretty frequent issue that ppl have with it. i was wondering if you have an idea of how a product i could use to mend it (solder, specific glue) by myself and some tips of how managing the process :) thank you a lot for your attention and for the great content! :)
Yeh, These were in for customization so, as I had to pull them apart anyway I thought I would get it on video but did not play with them to much.. It looks like the tuning they have done on these is all on the driver with the tissue paper on the front and back of the driver. I did have a quick listen but not long enough to really assess them. I am probably too used to beyerdynamics but they did seem to lack a little sparkle in the high end.
Or if you check out some of our older AKG videos we show how to replace the socket on some other AKGs by heating the socket up until the plastic softend and then ppullibg it out so it could be fitted with a 4pin

Maybe flip the top view as in the viewer looking the same way you are looking at the table? And do some zoom ins on the very small parts

Sorry, as it is a model we don't normally deal I have not tried to fix a pair
You didn't give them a listen before destruction? There's no pads or tuning modifications, just a driver and a little bits of glue?

Hello bro, I have 8 months old akg k361 bt, today right side just stopped working, I don't know why. Please help. Should I open it's headband ?
No sorry, but they will be under warranty to I would send them back for repair
This maybe O.T.T but i have to ask - Can they be wired for a balanced connection?
It would be possible but not easy... Removing the socket and hard wiring them would Probably be the easiest way to do it
