Call me old fashioned but not having sex with men that haven't made it crystal clear that they care deeply and want a relationship. Hes been putting in the work, consistent planning dates, calling, investing,over weeks before sex if not months. Basically legs closed till hes ready for commitment.

100% agreed. I divorced my husband because he was a bad guy. So I dated a couple guys after leaving my husband. One turned out to be married and then other was a doctor took a contract overseas and was only going to be stateside for two months and then was taking off and didn't tell me and we all know why he didn't. Being aloof brought attention and the funny thing is I wasn't doing it on purpose. I felt how I felt if I was hanging out with you it meant I wanted to and if I didn't then I didn't. I felt no sense of obligation since you don't have to when you're not dating. Not saying women should just hook up. Only explaining why I did. Because it's a trade-off when you aren't committed you can get down with who you want to but you also don't have someone to watch movies with or bring to the office party.

Tip: first day or two you’ll actually be shown to other people (afterwards of course you get shown, but, in comparison, rarely). On tinder it must be like a special super boost or something, which isn’t talked about. Because I accidentally boosted myself once and not only does it only last a half hour but it is nowhere near as effective. It just wasn’t the same. Don’t be discouraged if it gets harder after that initial phase. Have patience, it will be a slow trickle. Not just for that reason, but I try not to unmatch or block people whom I have even the slightest interest towards for that reason as well. Also, wait for them to message you and see who’s interested.
Guys may also say one thing and mean another. This time around I’ve had many try to neg me, or say oh I think we should just be friends, but act obsessed with me shortly after. They try to play steep mind games. Don’t let that demoralize you. Don’t think lesser of yourself. I’ve gotten to the point where I actually would just be by myself rather than entering an unfavorable tryst. Which is a lot coming from me, because I’ve always been a very romantic person and wanted a companion to go through life with. I’ve also found that many times when they unmatch or block, they may have actually liked me a lot- I am a good catch- but been deeply flawed in terms of their character.
