@funnylilgalreacts you're gonna love this series, it's funny and action packed at the same time
@@stevensheridan6921 mmm-hmm
Nimona, nominated for an Oscar.
Once you finish this series keep in mind there is another series that it’s just called Fullmetal alchemist from 2003 same voice actors mostly the same characters but the stories are very different because it was finished before the source material finished its storyline
I don’t get why people are so hostile about people watching dubbed versions. Let people do what they want.
I was absolutely terrified of people being mad that I was watching dubbed not subbed
@@funnylilgalreacts It's a sad fact but you will receive some hate. Just know the people who have been following you and even some new don't care. You're enjoying something we enjoyed on your terms.
@@funnylilgalreacts The dubbed is one of the best dubbed versions in the history of anime, please don't switch.
I prefer when reactors watched anime dubbed. Its just easier for me as a viewer.
@@funnylilgalreactsdubs have gotten so much better over the last 15 years as well. The story isn't lost in translation here and it's not weighed down by any distractingly bad performances (I watched both sub/dub on this)
"I don't know if it's happy or it's sad" ... Yes, the answer is yes.
😭😭😭
Rarely have I seen a youtuber start a reaction series and then rubbed my hands with the anticipation that they are not ready for this show geared at people in their mid to late teens.
couldnt have said it better
@@oq1106 I think every one of us is thinking of the same damn scene and I am weirdly sad that we are subjecting her to it.
It's not just that it's both happy and sad, it's that one of the very strong themes is specifically about finding joy in a harsh and sorrowful world.
Two non spoilerly things you should know since you're reacting to this.
First, the show has several episodes with after credit scenes, you can probably find a list of them.
Second, the dub team did a blooper reel for the show. It's easy to find on UA-cam and it's practically a tradition for reactors to react to it after they finish the show.
Omg yes! Definitely worth the watch after. Hilarious 😂 there's some scenes I watch that I forever picture the bloopers for xD
The best thing on FMAB is that 99% of the questions the newcomers have will be answered during the show, and the other 1% will be totally understandable by the end. And we will love to see your theories and analyses during the show.
and a whole lot of "What the hell is happening???????????"
Alchemists aren't limited to a single element like Avatar, but combat alchemy has to be fast so it relies on pre-drawn circles(like you see on their gloves and gauntlets), which limits what they can do in the moment
Yeah, in theory any alchemist can do any ability we see, it's just a matter of their knowledge and the transmutation circle they use. Each one just tends to have a field of study they focused on over others.
Exactly anyone theoretically can perform any alchemy that's possible within this show's magic system. It just takes years of study to master a few transmutations too the point that they can be safely used in battle without harming the user or other innocents.
@@VegetaLF7 It is also like a precursor to science, so it is knowledge based, thus you get nicknames because of your expertise.
This Like has been passed down the Armstrong line for GENERATIONS!
Fun fact: the VA for mustang is Travis Willingham, the voice of Grog in vox machina!! And the woman at the end is Laura Bailey (Vex'ahlia)
Who just so happens to be Travis’s wife.
I feel stupid, didn't see your comment before I posted mine.
Yes!!!
I can never take Lust quite as seriously now. I just keep waiting for a "You pooping?" at the end of her speeches.
@@piperbird7193 Now I can't get that image out of my head
This is going to give you an absurdly unrealistic standard for anime. This is one of the best ever 😂
Ehh she has plenty of other masterpieces to watch since she’s new . Bebop, flcl, ghost in the shell etc etc and most recently Frieren
The Avatar to FMAB pipeline is real and I'm so about it. I am so excited to go on this adventure with you Angela, this show is a masterpiece
Oh also, if you can do it with the copyright stuff, I'd definitely recommend doing two per video. There comes a time where the episodes are so intense that they feel like they're over in five minutes and you'll not want to wait lol
It all depends on the workflow and how much editing has to be done per episode because it’s anime. We really would like to get to two episodes per reaction
I know in Australia FMA:B is rated either M15+ (recommended for 15 or over) or the more strict MA15+ depending on the DVD set. I think it being PG-13 in the US is more due to there not being anything in between that and and R.
Damn thats so true, FMAB is the first anime i watched after i saw ATLA! @@funnylilgalreacts
@@RobertJWfor tv shows there is, TV-14
So one main difference between FMAB and Avatar is that the alchemy of FMAB is science rather than "magic". Like scientists, the alchemists tend to have a specialty (e.g. freezing for Isaac, flames for Mustang), but, unlike with Avatar, they can also manipulate other things so long as they have the prerequisite knowledge.
YES! This is so exciting!!
In college, this girl I had just started dating showed me FMA (the first series) to introduce me to anime, which she was a huge fan of but I had never watched before.
18 years later we're married with two kids, and our house is adorned with anime plushies, figurines, and art XD
My heart this is adorable 🥰
The Dub for FMA:B is outstanding. You're not losing anything in this case. You do, with a lot of Anime, but not really so much with this one. Same with Cowboy Bebop if you ever watch it (You should).
Also, it's brothers Edward "Ed" and Alphonse "Al" Elric.
Trigun is another example of good dubbing, in fact I prefer some of the English actors vs the Japanese one and that rarely ever happens.
Cowboy Bebop is certainly something she would very much enjoy, considering how much she likes sci-fi.
@dad, indeed, It would be right up her alley with all the sci fi and spaceships and everything.
Funny story about Cowboy Bebop, long ago when I first heard about it I somehow misheard the title as Cowboy Diva and imagined a completely different show. When I finally sat down to watch it I noticed my mistake, but I had some crazy ideas about what the show was going to be about that I couldn’t quite shake initially, it never ceased to make me laugh every time I watched an episode.
@@joeb918I mean, Faye is diva enough for everyone.
@benn454: Fair, that’s extremely fair, but no, I was expecting Cowboy Divas, it was way before the Kardashian’s were a thing, but I expected Cowboy Kardashian’s, with effeminate cowboys; though the look I was imagining kind of actually fits the look of the Big Shot bounty show.
If you feel slightly overwhelmed, there's a good reason, this was a sort of reboot, so a lot of the early episodes speed through a lot of the stuff that was already covered in the first version, then slows down when it gets to the new stuff.
I didn't see your before I replied this, so moved:
I really wish someone put together an episode order to watch Alchemist and then Brotherhood, like the first 20 or something of alchemist then brotherhood after like ep10 or something. Not entirely sure it's workable, due to changes in the story.
******** SPOILERTH *********
Like Tucker surviving longer.
@@BCPvideothats easy to do, 2003 until the 5th lab, then brotherhood from episode 10 onward
It’s not a reboot. It’s a manga version. The first anime which looks the same and sounds the same goes off story to make its own entirely different story from the original manga series. This one is based on the manga and is considered far superior to the first series.
Most of the episodes that are in the 2003 version that aren't on this are filler though (even before the split). The only Manga cut chapters that are in 2003 are the train hijack and Yoki episodes, and the latter gets recapped later (though is a good one to watch tbh).
@@BCPvideoI tried to do this a while back. FMAB is basically whiplash compared to FMA 03. So many characters are introduced so fast, and the emotional connections get rushed because all of this was covered in the original airing before the story split, which would be Episode 20 of FMA 03, and Episode 9 of FMAB. And yes, you even need the "filler" episode from FMA 03's mining town misadventure to understand some of the events that happen in FMAB. Unfortunately, FMA isn't on Crunchyroll, even with their absorption of FUNimation's titles.
"I don't know if it's happy or it's sad"
This story is a war story so it is sad. But it's told from a viewpoint of 2 kids so it is happy and funny too.
Alfonse's voice is precisely as it was when his soul was bound to the armor: unaged despite the passage of time.
Opening Theme
Ed: loses arm and leg
Al: loses entire body
Winry: loses balance
😆
*:SPOILER:* I always took that to mean she lost her parents, or she just felt lost after the Boys leave.
@@spencernaugle Yeah, Jokes aside, its symbolizing that Winry lost a part of herself in a non-physical sense, unlike the Boys.
Without spoilers, their powers are based of old alchemy. So symbols have power and different symbols allow for different changes. You’ll learn more about it as the series goes on, and frankly the power system in this show is incredibly well done!
Also, the voice actor for Roy Mustang is someone you know already!
And Lust's VA also. As a Brazilian guy I had no motive to watch FMAB EN Dub, so it will be fun to see Laura and Travis here.
For a modern example think of it more like the Glyphs from Owl House than the Bending in avatar. The transmutation circles are like a visual/pictoral spell to achieve a specific effect. A lot of alchemists will specialize in one thing- a lot of them are element specialists but you also have folks like Armstrong who specializes in Weaponized Sculptures, lol.
Every alchemist is capable of performing most transmutations but the State Alchemists specialize. The Freezer specializes in water with a preference for freezing it. Roy specializes in fire.
But, he would need the right transmutation circle to do it.
I think that’s spoiler free, yes?
@@TDoughter23 yes, that a good explanation, because I've seen reactors confused when some State Alchemists transmute something that isn't their specialty, bc they don't always catch that alchemy is not exclusive, anyone can learn it and master many ways to transmute different things, specialisation is just for the sake of battle efficiency.
Alchemy just allows them to manipulate matter in some way. Their names doesn't mean they're limited to that thing, it just means it's their speciality, they can still manipulate other things.
Thank you for sticking to the dub. Honestly if theres one thing that puts me off a FMAB reaction its when the reactor insists on using the subs.
Having watched both I genuinely prefer the dubs.
Also as someone who watched this sort of content while busy being able to tell where you are in the episode solely by audio cues is a big plus.
Between this, fallout, and Doctor who, You are in for a ride! I'm here for it

This is a helluva first pick for your first anime! Not to mention this one of the best dubbed anime to exist. I think you will love this story.
Thank you for watching the dub ❤️
FMA:B is among my top series ever period.
This series is perfect. I'm glad you're starting this journey. Dub is best.
Since you are also an honorary Critter with your reactions to Legend of Vox Machina, you should also know that Roy Mustang is voiced by Travis Willingham (Grog Strongjaw) and Lust (the femme fatale at the end of the episode) is voiced by his wife, Laura Bailey (Vex)
YESS THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD!
Honestly this is one of those pieces of media I would describe not only as one of the best animes, but a masterpiece in storytelling (especially the manga, but this is an extremely close adaptation). There seems to be a common thread between this and A:tLA, where if you resonate with the themes and narrative of that (and can handle a darker tone) then you’ll probably love this, even if you’ve never seen/don’t like anime. And you definitely got pulled into Avatar, so it’s safe to say you’ll probably vibe with this really well.
Yeah, don't worry about dub haters. Most of them are either older folks who have bad memories of super cheap dubs in the early 90s, or people just being snobs.
Otherwise: Alchemy is a science, not magic. It's a skill one learns to do, not a talent one is born with like bending. Different alchemists specialize in different things. McDougan specialized in water, Armstrong specializes in stone, Mustang specializes with fire, but they can all do other kinds of alchemy too if they learn the right transmutation circles.
This show does a great job of answering your questions as it goes on, so don't worry about things you don't understand right away.
The show definitely has some mature and dark moments, but my kids absolutely loved it all the way through. Excited to watch you watch it like I got to watch them.
I like the dub for FMAB, but I love hearing Romi Park more
What’s important though is that the watcher is able to enjoy the series, and English dubs help that, especially when reacting
Eh it's not just snobbish as some times the meaning of scenes can be lost in translation even if the performances themselves are actually good. FMA doesn't have that problem but there are some anime that do.
@troikas3353 The fact that I said "MOST" dub hatred is bad memories or snobbery and YOU felt the need to jump to the snobs' defense tells me which group you're in.
@@inkpenavengerYT I watch almost no subs for the same reasons she gave. But go ahead and keep making an ass out of yourself by assuming things.
@@inkpenavengerYTit's actually YOU who's ignorant and a blind hater, because MAJORITY of anime are better in sub, I CHALLENGE YOU to name 50 anime better in dub and I will name 100 better in sub.

This anime and other few are EXCEPTIONS, not EXAMPLES. The word you should've used in your comment is not MOST but LEAST
My heart broke when you shared that at the end of the video. I can't claim to know your story but people who have experienced great loss tend to find this series very cathartic and fulfilling. This is going to be a very special experience ❤
It's so cool that you are watching this. In fact FMAB is considered the best anime of all time, and the dub is in the top three of all time. What's even cooler that the creator of the manga this anime is based off of is a woman. Never let the sub community make you feel guilty for watching any anime in dub. The ones that complain the most just do it for the attention bc they've got nothing better to do. I can't wait to rewatch my favorite anime with you. Enjoy every minute of this amazing ride.
I’m so excited for you to go on this journey, it has the same heart as ATLA you’re going to fall in love with the whole cast and the story too 😊

Super excited to see you start your FMAB journey. Imo one of the best written stories for an anime. Enjoy the ride, and look forward to share in your experience.
The dub for this anime is one of the best dubs ever produced. Enjoy your journey through this awesome show
You are going to have times when you'll wonder why you should go on. Every event leads some where, most build the characters of Ed and Al.
The Lady who wrote this knows how weave comedy, violence, horror, and tragedy and make them serve the story.
This anime has themes so universal that it transcends the genre.
It gets kinda confusing, the story is set during that world's early 1900's, just to keep things easier to understand.
You're in for a rollercoaster ride. This anime is amazing, and one of my all-time favorites.
This is the first time I've ever genuinely hollered with anticipation when I saw you're doing this!
FMAB dub is easily one of the best dubbed anime available.
for better context: alchemy is a study of changing one element to another. this logic applies to the anime as well. so theyre a bunch of scientists in the military
Oh man, I will just say: You're gonna become The Tear Alchemist throughout this show. Its an AMAZING show, on a lot of people's Top 10, and even a ton of people's Number 1 in terms of Anime. It can get pretty emotional, so hope you're ready!!
Fruits basket is definitely my favorite anime but fma is a close second for sure.
She was a great tear bender I'm sure she will make a great tear alchemist!
I love this show, definitely one of my favourite pieces of media ever created! Don't stress over missing certain parts of the show, we know it is packed with a lot of information in every episode in addition to some relatively complex themes, ideas and philosophies. But figuring out what is happening and discussing the topics is the fun of it. Brace for an emotional ride, I'm very ready to tag along 😅
Episode 2 was emotional! From outta no where I want to protect Al at all cost. He’s my precious baby!
Yeah the show throws a lot of questions at you in the beginning, but it does a really good job of connecting all the story threads in the final act.
My favourite anime for sure, not that I've watched THAT many but still.
Glad you are watching this! It is one of my favorites and you will be emotional Hun.
'Well that took a crazy turn' oh you are not prepared! XD
It's finally happening!! For me, I prefer this one Dub over Sub because of how well done the Dub is. Definitely looking forward to the rest of this, no matter how long it takes
I would actually not read the comments, because so many of your questions are answered so organically throughout the show, most of them in the next couple episodes, and it feels better to learn alchemy and characters as the show presents them. It's incredibly written, and I'm delighted you're watching this! It's my favorite amine by a long shot
Im glad youre diving into FMA Brotherhood, I consider it one of the best Anime Series Ever made, dont worry about not understanding some stuff, all will be explained in due time, youre going to have a great journey watching this show!
Great choice of reaction, fullmetal brotherhood is the best animation out there, prepare for possible trauma and mind blowing scenes
What!!!!??? You’re going to watch anime!!!??? And you chose one of the greats to get you into anime???!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Didn't expect to wake up to this! FMA:B is my absolute favorite show of all time, so glad you're checking it out! No worries about watching the Dub over the Sub, this is one of the shows that has such phenomenal English voice acting that it doesn't matter too much, it'll still be a fantastic experience. It's happy, it's tragic, it's dark, it's hopeful, it's exciting with just the right balance of calm. It's a beautiful story that manages to bring together every loose end, every point in the plot, and it's nearly impossible to find any significant flaws with its writing. Now, that isn't to say that everyone's going to love it, everyone has different tastes and it's definitely not for everybody. From a purely objective point of analysis, though, it's really hard to criticize the story, aside from maybe the fact that some of the earlier story beats in the manga were skipped over because they'd already been covered in the 2003 anime.
What a great surprise! I'm excited to see your journey with this show!
Oh man, this is one of my all time favourite shows of all time!
Both the Dub and the Sub are both really good for this show - some people get weird about it, just ignore them.
The fact that you’re reacting to three of my favorite shows, simultaneously (FMA:B, Farscape, and Doctor Who) makes me so incredibly happy!!! 😄💖
Oh my GOD you're in for such a treat. This series is incredible.
this dub is actually REALLY good. It is usually preferred over the Japanese voices
King Bradleys Voice Actor alone makes it worthwhile.
There are soem cases when it doesn't really work well, the very first scene when Mustang talks to Bradley for an example, the dub dialogue there is very clunky.

Farscape, now FMAB? This is gonna be so much fun... and yes, bring tissues. I also looked 12 when I was 25. 🙄
I've always had the opposite "problem". I haven't had anyone ask for ID to check that I'm an adult since I was 16. I've looked ten years older than I am up until recently, I think my age is finally catching up to my appearance.
My absolute favorite show of all time. I'm saying 'show' to include shows that aren't anime into the pool. This one tops all for me. It checks off everything you want to see while being entertained. Have fun!
A week ago I would have said FMAB and Attack on Titan are my two favorites anime with Steins;Gate at place three, but I watched Frieren last week and it dethroned these two shows to fight for place two and three. Frieren is incredible, it even displaced FMAB from place one in the My Anime List Ranking for favorite anime TV show, by quite some margin! Highly, highly recommend!
Alchemy is when you transmute something into a different state, but it's based heavily on science. You can't say... turn water into fire, but you can turn it into all it's other forms like steam or ice because molecularly it's still made of the same stuff. And of course this will be elaborated upon later.
Actually, you COULD turn water into fire, because it’s made of hydrogen and oxygen.
@@Parallax-3D Oh yeah, bad example lol
@@ryan27229 its even done in the show :P
@@Parallax-3D you can turn water into flammable gas not directly into fire, what they did was separate the molecules and rearrange them.
Enjoy the dub and don't worry about it. In my experience, there are two responses to "Do you mind if we watch the English dub?/Do you mind if we get pineapple on our pizza?" Either "Sure. Sounds good" or "IT IS AN ABOMINATION!!" (Tears, shrieking, pitchforks, torches, swearing of blood oaths).
The FMAB dub is probably one of the better ones as it is. People should just enjoy it the way they can enjoy it
Great choice as a place to start! FMA:B is, without a doubt, a masterpiece and probably one of those near perfect pieces of media.
This is one of several anime where the dub is legit good and on par with the sub. You really can’t go wrong with this.

And she will love it for that
I love that you are reacting to another of my "comfort" series today. Been a rough one, so this is just what I needed. Thank you, and buckle up. You're in for one heck of an emotional ride!
My brother and I just finished watching this! You’re going to have such a great time with this one!
I love your attention to detail. some reactors tend to miss details which is a bit frustrating, but i find that you can grasp them so well! no pressure tho, its fine even if you miss some details
I legit had flashbacks when i saw this...this will be quite the ride
I was not expecting this at all
So happy you’re trying this
I absolutely adore this anime. Fun fact, this got made because the original FMA anime was being made while the manga was still being written and they got to the point where they got ahead of it. Brotherhood got made because they wanted a fully faithful telling of the manga. It was actually pretty fun when brotherhood first aired to see where the original anime diverged from the source material
It's not a "fully faithful telling of the manga", it can sometimes stray pretty far from it, that myth needs to die.
Not fully faithful, but a lot more faithful in comparison.
@frenchynoob besides the first episode and a slightly faster pace in the first 13 episodes (+Yoki ep cut)... where is it not Faithfull? I own the manga but haven't read it fully in a few years but dont remember any changes besides what's mentioned above.
@@XSpiegel I'd argue those first 13 episodes are more important to adapt correctly than anything else, especially if it was intended to replace 2003 as people claim. Besides that, a lot of the flashbacks are heavily truncated, the Ishvalan War being a prime example, Trisha is barely shown _at all_ , I think Xerxes suffers from it as well. The order in which the brothers' backstory is revealed is also change I would argue for the worse: in the manga we only learn their backstory when they meet back up with Izumi, around Volume 6 or so.
I'm not trying to say BroHo is bad, mind you, I just hate people using the false argument of "it follows the manga perfectly" to justify erasing 2003 from existance (my own personal bias aside, since I consider 2003 a better work of art than BroHo in every way).

YES! FREAKING YES! This is maybe my favorite series of all time. It is soooooo good!
You did really good for a first time seeing the show! A few things to help out: Alchemy will typically have one thing it does, for the case of the Freezing Alchemist, it was water temperature control. He could heat or freeze water, but preferred to freeze. As you might have guessed, next episode you will hear more of the brother’s backstory, but there are no representations from the government from preforming human transmutation. Ed and Al just don’t like remembering that day, it’s not that it’s a specific secret. Great reaction, loved your takes! Happy viewing!
You’ve been picking some really good series lately! This one’s a real gem
I primarily only watch dubbed anime. Don’t feel discouraged by it. And don’t let haters in the comments get to you about it either.
This show is amazing. Anime dub is fantastic. Don't let the sub vs dub people get you down
The reason this show is so good is because you can get so invested in the characters and the plot. It will allow you to experience a vast spectrum of emotions.
Im so glad you’re watching in dub !! Its my favorite version for these characters !!
Dubbed voice acting is very good these days. I generally always watch anime dubbed.
So exicted for you to watch through FMAB. Btw if you ever get around to watching more anime, I would recommened Cowboy Bebop based on the sci-fi you watch on the channel regularly.
I didn’t know I needed funnylilgal to watch FMABH until I saw this. Excited for you to experience this journey. I wish I could see it again for the first time.
This show is great. Outside of things like Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh (or Avatar if you count that, many don't since it's western-made), this was the first proper anime I watched in full as well, and while I've been a bit too busy to watch many more anime series since then, I still think you've picked a great starting point.
It's also been long enough since I watched it that I can't remember a lot of the specifics of the plot outside of the broad strokes and a few specific moments, so I'm actually really looking forward to going through the whole story again with you.
This show is dark as an abyss and endlessly twisty, so you're in for a ride!
Don't worry about the dub haters!
I have severe ADHD and have to watch anime in dub. (Tbh, I think it's kinda ableist for people to demand everyone watch subbed.)
I always watch dubbed on my first watch of anime because I want to appreciate the art and I just can't do that if I have to read subtitles.
I do sometimes check out subbed on rewatch to see what I miss.
I find it really annoying when a reactor has already stated they're watching it one way and people keep complaining and demanding they change it up. This happens a lot in the comment section of the Letts React channel, both reactors that run that channel have audioprocessing issues and doing sub would be extremely uncomfortable, but people can't seem to grasp that. Your comm reminded me of them.

I cannot express how excited I am to watch this with you. This is my favorite anime, I watch it every year. It's a beautiful emotional journey that I know you will love. Also thanks for watching the dub, it's my favorite version.
Hello! I really enjoyed this reaction and great job remembering so many names, a lot of people have trouble with that early on. FMAB reactions tend to have the same people commenting the same things, tips, and list of episodes with after-credits scenes. Most reactors end up missing the 4 OVA episodes, they're basically extra side episodes usually going into backstories of side characters scattered throughout the series. They're not necessary to watch but you may want to consider it as they're all quite good.
If you are interested, 'Simple People' can be watched after episode 2, 'the Blind Alchemist' can be watched after episode 20, 'Yet Another Man's Battlefield' can be watched after episode 30, and 'Tales of the Master' can be watched after episode 33.
Otherwise, so happy someone new is watching the series and it really seems like you're putting thought into your commentary and reflections, which I appreciate so much. This show definitely rewards thinking about the plot and world, so your questions are not wasted at all.
literally screamed when I saw the thumbnail 🥹 FMAB = GOAT 🐐🔥🍻
Thank you for the dub and the voice actor playing Edward Elric, Vick Mignogna is very talented. You’ll never see him do mainstream anime again but, he was definitely talented.
And he won't for a very good reason, truly an awful man
@@DustyVita Let’s not talk about why. The man was extremely talented and unfortunately, we won’t see him again. Let’s not talk about why. He was extremely talented. Yes, I repeated myself.
This is hands down my favorite show of all time and i rewatch it at least once every two years. Hype for you to get through it.
I'm sure someone will do it in more detail, but there are episodes down the line with post credit scenes that are important to watch. A lot of the time they lead directly into the next episode and you might be a little lost if you missed them.
I didn't know I needed this, but it's turned out to be everything I've ever wanted.
This show was written by a woman and is the highest rated. Great one to start out on.
You only have to worry about the dub with older anime, most stuff after 2010 or the dubs are perfectly fine, the community is just traumatized
Ruroni Kenshin is one of the few late 90s anime where the dub isn’t terrible either
God I remember the terrible One Piece version (that also censored everything, from Sanji smoking to Bellemere's death). It was my first anime (not on tv) I watched, and it turned me off from anime for years until someone convinced me to watch subbed. (Which still took some time getting used to, because I had never heard Japanese before)
Cowboy Bebop is the gold standard for early era dubs that are amazing
@@means_well True enough.
That just couldn't be more wrong lmao. In fact, it's the opposite, english dubs have become worse over the years. What you said is only true for languages like spanish, portuguese, french, german...
Wow, I was NOT expecting this one. You're in for one hell of a ride
'Well that took a crazy turn'
There. You did it. That's the whole series distilled.
This is considered the greatest anime of all time, for reference at the beginning I read that Edward's height is about 4'7. That's why he's so insecure.
Actually, Cowboy Bebop is considered the greatest anime of all time.
@@Parallax-3D haven't watched it yet, however FMAB is the highest anime rated ar IMDB, but I've seen people who said AOT is the greatest, guess we'll never know lol
@@feliperudas Its all preference in the end.
@@Parallax-3D Not to say that cowboy bebop isn't great but your statement isn't true. At the end of the day everyone has their preference but talking about the public at large FMAB is always rated at the top for anime.
Edit: On IMBD, for example, FMAB is #1 and cowboy bebop is #4. Now there could be another site that has cowboy bebop higher but I doubt you'll find more than those that have FMAB higher.
Edit 2: to go with your point, "paste magazine" has cowboy bebop as #1 and FMAB as #5
This is one of the rare occasions were I prefer the dub, the voice acting is on point for the he dub
Woow, this is a surprise for sure!! You're definitely in for an emotional ride!!
I literally stopped another video to watch this video! It's so great you've decided to get into Anime, and especially this one. Just finished your journey through Avatar, and now I'm super excited to watch this with you!
