Il Duce wears his uniform - Greek WWII song

  • On 10 June 1940, Italy declared war on France and the United Kingdom. By September 1940, the Italians had invaded France, British Somaliland and Egypt. This was followed by a hostile press campaign in Italy against Greece, accused of being a British ally. Italy's invasion of Greece, launched from Italian-controlled Albania, was a fiasco: six divisions of the Italian Army, badly organized and insufficient to manage a full-scale invasion, encountered unexpectedly tenacious resistance by the Hellenic Army and had to contend with the mountainous and muddy terrain on the Albanian-Greek border.

    Oye, el desafortunado

    Se encuentra en las montañas.
    y el amo se molesta,
    el comedor de espaguetis
Ah, Ciano, me estoy volviendo loco, Ciano

Ah, Ciano, me estoy volviendo loco, Ciano
tráeme mi ropa negra para ponerme rápido
    Ayyyyy
    El nuevo Napoleón envía
    Divisiones de gente hambrienta
En lo alto de la montaña
para que puedan conocer a su diablo
y nuestro ejército captura muchos prisioneros. muchos muchos prisioneros!
    Ay
    y los pobres centauros
    Vaya, que terrible
    ayuno, demacrado
    caen al agua
¡Ay! Gracie, no deberías dejar que te vea, Gracie
Porque he estado sentado sobre carbones encendidos
    Ayyyy
Corren como locos en las rocas
Y de nosotros y los aliados
    se comen la patada
    y sin mucha dificultad
    Hombres galantes griega entró
    A través de Kortsa
    Ayyyy
    Khaki entró en Argyrokastro
Y la bandera griega ondea ahora
¡Ay! Ciano, me voy a matar, Ciano

    Y los desafortunados
