Problem w CW is that all levels he has been the best player on the field and has NEVER been contested seriously on a football field. Now he’s in the NFL and the opposition is like he’s never seen in his life. I think he’s had a tough time in coping w real competition for the first time in his life .
Nah. He faced rough competition at USC, and every time he lost. The ND game was the most glaring failure. He looked downright bad against a Top 25 college program.
@EviIM0nk3y OK? He racked up stays against mediocre competition. He lost every game against top programs. Chris Weinke, Jason White, Matt Leinhart, Troy Smith, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, RF3, Manziel, Winston and Mariota did, too.
Tim you're really trying to be nice on Caleb, when my opinion he is 50% the problem , What's that number, 2.5 seconds ,get rid of ball.5-10 seconds is nuts, and prefers a sack instead of interception because it doesn't go against his stats. So Obvious
That one play made ZERO sense. Rome was wide open on a crosser off the jump. Caleb stepped up into the pocket nefore ever looking in Rome's direction, and it seemed like he never looked at him. Then he kept looking left and Rome crossed right into his FOV and Caleb still wouldn't throw it. Rome was still WIDE OPEN. Caleb then took a sackir barely hot back to the LOS.
Found Tim a year ago looking for JF breakdowns. It’s sad to see what this organization has done to him. Is this what we look like to the outside world?
TJ described systemic dysfunction that starts at the top. It is so easy to ridicule the McCaskey's but, George NEVER owns failures. Every Black Monday press conference for the last 10 years has been filled with patronizing crap like "focus on the future...character and hard work...looking ahead to winning...getting this right...". Any wonder the owners never hire a Campbell-Ditka type?!
Don’t fall in love with the “popular” coaching candidate. When Campbell was hired, that move was considered a joke, and the urban meyer / Brandon Staley hires were seen as Home Runs
I now hate the bears. 50 years as a fan and I hate them with a passion now. I hate watch hoping they lose. I will not ever return until I see they are serious. They are not.
Let’s not forget the horrible drops by Allen and Odunze, and it seems like Caleb is always looking for Allen prior to any other reads. We need a competent offensive coach to fix this asap
The scariest thing and most troublesome is that Caleb's current comp is Mitch Trubisky. Fairly similar stats in their first full year. Wildly inaccurate on deep throws. Inability to read defenses. Both got "stuck" on one receiver. Both are athletic. Both could scramble. Both had some great games. Both had too many games of just pure mediocrity. I think the Bears still did the right thing since they were never going to pay Fields, but Caleb's struggles are looking way too familiar.
lol Mitch threw 7 td to 7 int his first year. And don’t say 2018 was his first “full” year. He played in 12 games his rookie year vs 14 in 2018, so not much difference
The fact that this is the 3d straight quarterback that Chicago has drafted and it’s been the same issue over and over exposes that it’s a problem from the top down. Yes Caleb has his issues, but you can’t expect a rookie quarterback to come in and be perfect. They put so much on him with no real leadership. Of course he is going to struggle. Until they figure out the coaching situation this is just going to repeat year after year.
Caleb is one of the youngest QBs in the entire League. I think only JJ McCarthy is younger. Front Office needs to get its sh!t in order, get an offensive minded HC, build the team from the trenches up, and establish an effective running game. Then you’ll see Caleb start playing better and developing his potential and production.
To everyone who wanted Flus gone midseason, what were you imagining would happen? Did you think the team would just be better? They lost in painful ways, but they certainly did not look like the worst team in the league
I think I'm trying to convince myself Caleb is the guy. How many #1 picks turn into superstars? He's good. But we don't have the culture and staff to make him great. Ex Baker Mayfield & Sam Darnold
Ownership, GM and coaches have been at it with each other for so long they've forgotten the team is the priority. In ignoring that, they've let down 2 QBs and are on their way to their 3rd. Trubisky and Fields were deliberately sabotaged. It looks like Halas hall is now doing the same to caleb
Do you get what we’ve been saying yet? Rewind one year, getting rid of Fields is starting over, missing the TEAM, and missing the playoffs 2024! GET IT?!?
I’d say it’s 50/50 that the bears ruin Caleb Williams, as they have with so many other quarterbacks. I don’t capitalize “bears” as they don’t deserve it.
On what planet could any NFL rookie QB learn and grow with such a horrendous offensive line in front of him? We cant run the damn football and we can't pass protect. Patrick Mahomes would be labeled a bust playing here with this horseshit roster. I have no faith in Ryan Poles. He literally did the one thing he could not afford to do and that was out his rookie QB in a no win situation. Ryan Poles did that.
Caleb is a bust but nobody wants to admit it. Bust is someone who does not live up to expectations. Regardless of the endless excuses, it's obvious we ONCE AGAIN picked the wrong guy. Caleb is the problem, running around backwards like Manziel and getting strip sacked.
It’s getting clearer every week that JDaniels was the best pick and at the very least, they should’ve kept JF and built around him. Imagine if they drafted Alt and Verse? Getting two dominant rookies on each side on the ball out the gate would’ve been so much better than bust CW and Rome
Black quarterback privilege. Gayleb💅🏾 has significantly less yards and less total TDs than Sam Howell through 17 games. But there’s no problem whatsoever with Gayleb. Never mind he holds the ball forever and is wildly inaccurate. He can’t read a defense either.

@Twigg4075 😂 Bro, I was at the game when he beat Notre Dame his Heisman year. What are you talking about?
@jeffsullivan4150 I'm talking about last year when ND boat raced him and picked him three times I believe.

A coach like Kevin O'Connell is 1 in a million. You just don't come across coaches like that very often.
That's the opposite of what that phrase means
10 out of 12 is a high probability. I think you meant to say “exception to the rule” or “1 in a million”.
@@jeffreystebel Thank you sir. I just changed it. 😆

Guy on this station said CW was "Bears-Proof"...oh ye of little faith...
We need a photo from you too now
We could have had Kevin O'Connell. But we chose Everlose 🤬
He interviewed with the Vikings first so he was never gonna make it to Chicago
@@basedjiren3889 Bears did not even have him as a candidate.
@basedjiren3889 He didn't get hired for 22 days after Flus got hired. At least that's what I heard in the radio.
wellness check for Tim Jenkins pls as a new Bears Fan LOL

He looks almost exactly the same as Trubisky. I’d say a bit better than Mitch still, but you’re absolutely right.

Williams is broken now, based on what you’re saying.

10:42 we have the sizzle, not the steak
If they keep poles and not just let him pick the new coach but also do the draft. Then Williams has not been watching what a failure poles has been.
Dang Tim, where ya get that $2 haircut
Need better players more than anything.
Why doesn’t Tim just become the QB coach for Caleb?
Should have kept Justin
I can tell you exactly what you need to do. Yet you won’t.
Like we’ve been saying, Caleb Williams psychology, sucks! He needs to call Tony Robbins!
I’d say it’s 50/50 that the bears ruin Caleb Williams, as they have with so many other quarterbacks. I don’t capitalize “bears” as they don’t deserve it.
Very generous, I'd say moreso 30/70 ish
I love it, tag child protective services, right lol They're gonna come after me too my son is a Bears fan just want to say sorry son 😅
