I got so tired of Vilma saying run the ball. Especially with Swifts inconsistent running style. He falls forward and goes down with every shoestring tackle. Then he randomly decides to run hard through tacklers every 10 carries.

Was worried about the TB as HC situation cause we got so many issues now he's not gonna be as focused on calebs development. Caleb literally needs to hire his own coach to make sure he's on track.

Just bad teams and drama every week in this city. Chicago deserves Boston and Philly owners and teams. These owners have no business owning teams in that city. Ricketts should never own a prestigious baseball team like the cubs. The team he deserves is the tampa bay rays. Reinsdorf and the mcaskeys shouldn't own the bulls and bears. Just ridiculous man

All of these comments but none of you were at the game on Sunday and watched it from your couch. I was there. The offensive line; Braxton Jones, every drop back pass was bull rushed right into Caleb’s lap who’s h didn’t allow him to step up in the pocket. Shelton Coleman was on the ground every other play, receivers ran the same route and were all in the same area where Caleb didn’t have a place to put the ball. DJ and Keenan dropping passes. They were jogging routes.

Caleb was roasted last year when USC was run over by ND. Nobody acknowledges that in his “worst game” he still had a 100 passer rating.
Fought to the bitter end, but the 4th qtr Kickoff rtn & fumble rtn tds put the game out reach.
Caleb is showing the same for the bear…blessed to have him.

I generally agree with Tim, and coaching REALLY matters big time!! However after watching some of the film on Adam Mason’s channel, there definitely were plays left on the field by Caleb. Clearly Caleb needs to be processing better, but he is just a rookie. He definitely has the same problem as Justin and is afraid to throw sometimes….

Well u say he's just a rookie but what about the other rookies who r doing so much better?? U all said he was generational??! He should be playing way better regardless of rookie or not!! U all need to get real bout him. Not saying he's a bust by no means but u all have to realize he's not as great as u all think!! Wow plays r very far and between. I've never even seen him throw a accurate deep ball n what is his longest passing,?? Just wondering.

What a joke. Fans want their team to succeed but stop making excuses and being obtuse. We had 4 yards of offense for an entire half and Tim says “I don’t know any QB who would have done differently than CW”
Stop it, please just stop. You all had ZERO problems trashing Trubisky and JF but somehow the cat has your tongue when it comes to CW. Maybe it’s the guilt you feel for running JF away or maybe you don’t want to feel bad bc the other rookie QB’s (in spite of bad OL, bad play calling, etc), are looking decent to good and we are not.
Either way, stop gas lighting us and telling us we’re not seeing what we clearly are seeing

  • @eugene3560

There were routes downfield that were dead from the start, but he still missed back (safety outlet) in the flat that was wide open. When a play breaks down, try to put the ball in a play makers hand instead of taking a sack. At the worst, throw it over the head of your safty valve and stop taking a loss.

  • @TahitianTreatt

a lot of the players looked like they just gave up, which is interesting. Hope Poles is taking note of that, because this isnt the first time that issue has existed this szn. also, the fact that u all keep pointing arrows at Thomas, in the video cap, like this bs is his fault is funny . he was the passing assistant 1 month ago - never had a HC spot. who seriously thought he was about to recreate the wheel and win the job with a 5 game showcase? most of us, WITH SENSE knew we would be getting a new HC DC and OC during the off szn....

  • @Philtration

A QB with a quick release and can throw down field with accuracy would be successful.
Caleb holds the ball too long, and his throws downfield are concerning at best.
A QB that can burn you on the blitz can put a stop to it or slow it down, and right now, no Defense is worried about Caleb connecting on a 40 yard pass.
    No one.

Thomas Brown has never been a good OC or offensive play caller. Furthermore, Eric Washington has historically been one of THE WORST defensive play callers and DC's in the NFL. As long as he's DC, the Bears will always play from behind which will force the offense to run more passes, and in turn cause Caleb to get sacked more.

They don’t need a fine play caller or adequate head coach. They need an elite play caller and a very driven head coach. I’m OK if the head coach is a defensive guy as long as he has ties and can bring in an elite play caller, can’t afford to play guessing games gotta get this right.
