There’s something about these puzzles that’s enhancing my decision making during chess games. I can’t really explain it, it’s like a ‘chess muscle’ that’s being exercised. I love it!
I found the idea, but got the order of the last moves wrong, because I missed the zugzwang. I did the rook move first to drive the black king away before attacking the black rook.
Once again, I saw the winning keymove only in the particular position, but not ahead from the beginning position, though I calculated up to that point. Nice puzzle. 🙂
The most important rule in chess is: Don't ever play for your opponent, play for yourself only. And here after rook to C8 move the black played for his opponent. So he moved the rook to A8 in order to let us take it !
Another intriguing study, one which I failed to solve. I must be getting closer, though, because the end no longer shocks me.

It was a beautiful puzzle. Thank you for publishing it.

How about DRIVE *YOUR KING* UP THE BOARD and take his rook, genius ?? xD
.
Amazing!
Very clever solution!

I nearly did the same thing, but then I realised it's not a legal move! Before Bb6, White's bishop on d8 prevents Rc8.
Nice closure
Nice zugzwang
easy and enjoyable!
thank you!

That starting pawn structure is highly unlikely, but it’s still a great puzzle!

Total destruction
Sooo evil making black offer up his rook :D
Well I did get the last decisive move. That was about it. great puzzle.
06:22 -- but what if Black *does NOT play the King to **_c6_* , but some OTHER square instead ?? -_-
.
Still Bb6. The only difference is that black does not have Kxb6 available, so you win the rook one turn earlier.
Easy, thanks for teasing my brain :)
I saw the solution immediatly. Without thinking. But I knew this study (since many years), certainly. The study is well known.
I liked R c1
Nice
Please, no pointers whatsoever!
