Absolutely loving your content, sir. I've recently got back into comics and I've been buying a TON of stuff using your vids for the excellent recommendations you provide. Keep up the great work. Sincerely, Fin. South Wales, UK.
Really really recommend The Silver Coin by Image. It’s horror anthology and each issue is a different genre of horror as well as written by a different writer while Micheal Walsh draws all the issues.
A major horror hidden gem for me is Tremor Dose and Double Walker by Michael W. Conrad and Noah Bailey. Both of these comics are published through ComiXology Originals and I think are getting physical editions later this year.
Hey Omar! I love your Hidden Gems and monthly haul videos. Always giving me something fresh to add to my ever growing wish list. Bone Parish and Ice Cream Man are defintely going on there! I've read very little horror in graphic novels myself (I'm part way through the Gideon Falls hardcover at the moment, though), but would recommend Brink, if you haven't read it already. it's a sci-fi police procedural with some occult elements. It's cool and a bit weird.
One kinda horror/sci-fi book that gets no love is that Abnett/Culbard series Wild’s End which is about this alien invasion in a charming anthropomorphic world like Winnie the Pooh. It’s amazing.
Great list! I'd recomend some european comics (but I have no Idea if you have editions in English of all of these). Check them out: - "Le Bois Des Vierges" by Jean Dufaux, Beatrice Tillie - "Algernon Woodcock" by Guillaume Sorel, Mathieu Gallié - "Vampire Boy" by Trillo & Risso - "Henri Desiré Landru" by Chabouté - "Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy" -> portuguese but you have a Dark Horse edition!! And I'm just discovering Junji Ito in portuguese but I know you allready mentioned that guy! :D Cheers & love to all!
But I know what is in English, check out Todd, The Ugliest Kid On Earth, it's a dark comedy, perfect for Halloween, I loved reading that comic, it's absolutely bonkers
One I’d recommend, though I’m not sure if it’s ever been collected as I’m reading single issues is “House of Hammer and Hammers Halls of Horror. Essentially the same magazine as it’s name changed half way through its run. Published in the U.K. in the late 70s it contains articles about horror films, but also has comic strip adaptions of their films as well as an ongoing series of original horror strips. Similar in tone to som of EC’s output and printed in glorious black and white
Brilliant vids thanks so much for taking the time to make such quality work I've had so many great reads from the recommendations of you, and the comments too, I think I'd recommend Vampire Boy by Eduardo Risso and Carlos Trillo for a good Halloween comic read
My list are all for 2000ad Durham red the scarlet cantos, Zombo I'm a good boy really, judge Anderson death's dark dimension, judge Dredd vs death, judge Anderson Satan and judge Dredd book of dead
Some good Horror recommendations: Severed by Scott Snyder Wytches by Scott Snyder & art by Jock The Cape by Joe Hill Infinite Dark by Image comics is good too for sci-fi existential dread in the same style of Alien

Bone parish going to check it out
It’s so good.
Omar did you already cover or talk about the new library editions being put out for Jodorowski?
I added to my must buys this month, but as soon as I get it, I’ll do a video on it.
I had to watch this video under my blankets with one eye open.
I have the beautiful HC of freaks of the heartland, such a great story and amazing artwork 👍👍👏

Is the ice cream man based on the movie ?
I have been debating Ice Cream Man..im def more intrigued now and then Crawlspace has got my ATTENTION!!
Great selection! Thanks!
Awesome video Omar, I want to pick up all of these! You always do this to me bud 😂. I hope you and your lovely family are doing well.
"My favorite one has to do with the porn stars."
interesting list! Thanks so much, Omar!
Thank you hermano.
Got my copy from the local library of EC Archives Tales from the crypt volume 1. My body is ready.
I'm curious about your setup for filming. Any chance of a vid showing your camera setup, lighting setup and what you use to edit?
I’ve thought about putting some BTS on Patreon, since the channel is about comics. So I may do that. Thank you for reminding me.
Great list!

Not sure if Dylan Dog is printed in English, but if you haven't read those, I recommend ordering a few of those! Martin Mystere is great too
But I know what is in English, check out Todd, The Ugliest Kid On Earth, it's a dark comedy, perfect for Halloween, I loved reading that comic, it's absolutely bonkers
Not sure where it falls on the Hidden Gem scale but "The Wake" from Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy was good.
I thought the first half was great. Second not so much
@@jamespaul6315 It does get a little Scott Snyder-y at the end
@@jabezcreed it was a shame because I loved the first half, and was hyped for the second part. It felt like waterworld part 2.
Have you read Doomed from IDW yet? It's kinda like eerie or tails from the crypt.
"Fear Case" was a really great horror book that comes out next week - I suggest that to anyone and everyone!
I’m reading neonomican/courtyard/providence by Alan Moore and Izombie Omni by Allred for Halloween
Basket Case reference!!!
Top points for (good) bad horror flick mentions.
Lol I love horror flicks.
@@NearMintCondition You sir, have clearly exquisite taste!
Great comic book/graphic novel recommendations. Great horror movie knowledge. Subbed!

Infinite Dark by Image comics is good too for sci-fi existential dread in the same style of Alien
I haven’t read Severed and I need to.
