any loss in power? im contemplating buying this one as well for cost and sound it seems like a good buy. would you have preferred getting the 14" 350mm after this one? im worried about losing back pressure and robbing power.
    thanks

I have the 1200s and also installed a Delkevic can. Unlike this 1250 FI, the older 1200 with carbs not only gets superb exhaust note, but a huge power increase. Huge!! You really need to respect these bikes. For riders with less experience, go with the 600 bandit and still show respect even on one of those. I own a MK II 1200s. From what I can tell, the first Gen Mk I are the ones to get as they have less government mandated plumbing. I do love my MkII as it is very addictive to ride. It is all stock except for the Dlekevic can. These over square inline 4 motors are an engineering marvel. The MkII redlines at 11,000 so it shows as once I get to around 9000 or so I am shifting and hanging on with both hands trying to keep my head from getting torn off as these bikes will do over 110 mph in 2nd gear taking only seconds. For newer riders this can be terrifying. For vet riders it is very addictive. Taking one of these bikes to the pipe in 3rd gear requires a set for sure as you have more than doubled the speed limit in all 50 states. Not that I was doing this but a Colorado State Trooper and I had a lengthy conversation and he let me go with a warning. We talked about jetting and such for making changes to the bike. I told him I was out here where there is hardly anyone as to not cause trouble. He apparently agreed and let me know with a verbal warning. He was very cool.

I was searching for videos on Bandit 1250 exhaust sounds to determine which kind I wanted to get. After seeing this video, I literally instantly went on eBay and ordered one of these. I grin and laugh every single time I open the throttle. @2001bullitt1861 I haven't noticed any loss in power at all. In fact, I've had a good number more accidental wheelies than before, just FYI.

Would be nice to hear it with the camera much further away. Upclose the camera trys to reduce sensitivity but winds up compression or distortion. Get someone to record while you do a few rides close by.
