@3:51 black moves 20-24 in response to whites previous move 36-31. I applied the square diagram and line diagram and there are a few things i realize: 1st, 24 is a strategic position for 31 when applied with the line diagram 2nd 24 is a move to the center of the square (here i applied the double square drawing, 13, 15, 33, 35) 3rd moving to 24 seems to allow black to have a double attack on the 29 square and creating a stronger central construction. other than this, please explain why this is a good move.
You are perfectly right. And that is why in the next move, white removes black piece on square 23. Great job. You are fully getting the application of the square diagram

You don't teach anyone anything it just shows moves on a board. Checkers is like the worst game to get beginners started as you all want to protect your positions as good players.
@@koromamedia8146 It was a bit harsh, which I'm sorry for. I haven't checked out everything but when I searched for learning openings this is what came up. I don't see videos without talking as a tutorial, because it needs the talking to explain the mechanics behind good moves.

Please I want you to teach me how to calculate the moves
Thanks kojokay for the message, I will be doing tutorials on that.

That's quite an intriguing comment! Have you had the chance to check out my other tutorials?
