Seeing these videos in color really helped me changed my view of the early 1900s and late 1800s. Ty so much for doing these videos. You earned a new sub
The uniformity of fashion in the eras is interesting. Some if it may be just materials available at the time = long hair = big bun bouffant. There is also the communal uniformity of the long skirts and same hair style for social acceptance. And then there is the enhancement by artifice. The making the hair larger than life rather than it being down and lank, it is teased and made more like a wig to look thicker and more maybe 'desirable' for mating or for looking more 'superhuman'. Fascinating. How these images are an 'object' but the reality was a moment in time - only bones, if that, may exist of these lovely ladies on this never ending object spinning that has embalmed time. Great restoration and history ; )
I love ❤ looking at these videos of eras gone past. It just amazes me how much things have changed in so little time. Thank you for doing these videos. So fascinating
Oh, this was beautiful color. Where they’re working though, kind of reminds me of us decent sweat shop. They’re literally all lined up. It’s crazy that that’s the working conditions back then.
I worked for GE many years ago and wound an armature exactly like these in the videos. I noticed the lamps along the aisles, I wonder if they were used to check for a ground in the circuit?
I hope this is real and not AI. Women dressed beautifully back then and worked in factories, around the house, and took care of children in full dress. So amazing.
So you agree that men want women to do a man’s job by making money for the family and then do a woman’s job after an exhausting day at work, while men laze around after work? This is why the male loneliness epidemic keeps growing. Men want women to carry the weight of the world while at the same time saying women are leeches
There were toxic things going on pertaining to the environment, even back then as well because they weren’t aware. It’s done by many countries now and they are all well aware.
Everything you mentioned existed back then but ten times worse. You people don’t read and then open your mouth and spew nonsense. People back then worked with the most harmful chemicals known to man daily, with no protective gear. Their machinery had little to no safety features and you didn’t need a license or certification to operate heavy machinery. Also they had basically no severance if they were mutilated by the machines. Let’s not forget how the 40 hour work week didn’t exist and people would literally be forced to work 100 hours a week. There’s a reason why communism was getting so popular at that time. Work was literally hell on earth, and something that a lot of modern people, especially in first world countries, can’t even begin to comprehend
I always look forward to the time traveling in your videos
The immersion of sight of accurate coloring and sounds is extraordinary
@@17cmmittlererminenwerfer81 yes and the not the original speed of the film too… it’s from 1904 and that’s not the point of the video
Thank you for bringing history to life for us. ❤
Although this is not the first time I’m reviewing it, it’s still interesting to plunge into the past. The quality of the video helps a lot!)

Well said!
Any idea what they are making ? It does look like electric motor components.
I think you're right. The large cylindrical components being wound with wire are typical of the stators or rotors used in such equipment.
It looks like they're winding armatures.
Sewing? lol idk
All the ladies are dressed impeccable for there job very nice video thank you !!!💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Теперь я понял где работали эти девушки и женщины. Они делают синхронные двигатели. В предыдущем видео они заходили на фабрику
Love it ❤
Elegant ladies at all times...
We are all time travelers💗
Time & space. Both. Always.

Colorization is true to era takes you there
相変わらず引き込まれてしまいます。
監督官のような女性(紺色の服)と、真ん中を通る男性はどういう人なんだろう?
Beautifull!!
So interesting, thank you.
What are they making/doing?
They’re making electric motor parts

The footage is real, it has been enhanced with ai (color, high resolution, fps)
I'm sure I've seen this film many years ago on UA-cam, perhaps not colourised, although I can't remember if that was the case.
So you agree that men want women to do a man’s job by making money for the family and then do a woman’s job after an exhausting day at work, while men laze around after work?

I'd like to see the original footage.
i think this is a triangle factory. it was never the best place to work, to say the least. but honestly, it's pretty cool to see what it looked like
❤❤❤
What are they making?
I saw it was a Westinghouse factory.. I wonder what they were making..
They’re making electric motor parts
What are they making?

"The superintendent expect us to work through our 5 minute lunch break."
Toxic materials + heavy machinery + general ignorance + disregard for employee health = Our Modern World.
So much mixed emotions.

@@mychannel-rt2gn you're such a silly, silly goober. go back to under your moldy rock. and read a book. or use the internet to learn. CHEERS ! 🙂
I could not understand the job😢
Undoubtedly staged filming (thus everyone is in their Sunday’s best), but interesting nonetheless.
Are you slow? Those aren’t their Sunday’s best, those are average day-to-day frocks
