This theme unironically makes the Delirium fight less of a chore and makes me actually want to focus and persevere against him. What a bop.

As much as I hate the whole telefrag thing, I think Delirium being extremely difficult and annoying is actually intentional. This is a test of everything you've learned in the game, and the fight just screams "Don't fuck this up."
Yeah honestly Delirium doesn't really need any major reworks, he just needs the telefragging fixed and polished (along with the whole floor).

Eh, I don't belive Deli tests any actual skill that the player has been building up to that point of the game (resource management, movement efficency or synergy building), it's more of an endurance test where you need to kill him before he kills you, luck based from start to end
But that's kinda cool though, because chaos and luck are basically the core of Isaac's game design, I hope that the rework keeps that aspect of randomness in focus
the riff at 0:41 is extremely short but builds up soooo much tension i love it!!!

I just came back to this theme again after discovering it one year ago. What is this item asylum thing people are talking about
Item Asylum is a game on Roblox, whose devs took inspiration from this boss and this ost, remade it to the style of their game and added it as a secret reference.

A follow up to that guy, Item Asylum is whats called a "randomiser" game. It takes place on a map where every time you respawn you get 3 random items, a Melee, a Ranged and a miscellaneous tool or utility.
It has several modes. Free for all, Juggernaut, zombie survival, boss battle, elimination, team deathmatch, and gun game.
Each round can last no more then 9 minutes, and depending on how well you did in the round (kills, boss damage, being the first person to 17 kills in gun game)
Can award you IA points to buy emotes and chattags.
Each item, emote, map, lobby is a reference to something, be it an inside joke, a popular meme, a weapon from a TV show or game.
The game pushes 10k players on peak hours, frequenting 6k when not in peak hours.
Conclusion: Item asylum is a roblox randomiser game, play the shit outta it NOW

I really really love the overwhelming and fast paced feeling of this track and with all the glitchy n weird noise plus the little throwback to Fly Boy this ends up fitting PERFECTLY with Delirium,honestly wishing this was the og theme for Delirium cuz everyone needs to listen to this gem...
