I'm surprised by the amount of people saying its unfair to dragons being spawned to far and that it they should spawn close but that would just make it easier for the dragons to destroy the defense and make it completely one sided. One of the main strengths of defenses are there range.
Distance greatly matters here. You deployed the dragon where it would get at least 3hits. The closer it is, the lesser the damage. Then see the difference. Thanks for the video! I love it! I remember when I first played COC some 7yrs ago lol.

Troops should be deployed outside the air defense range..... otherwise air defense can't utilise it's range speciality.......this is done correctly here

Why it's actually a good thing he does it like that in one video the defense and the troop both died he leveled up the defense and again that defense died and the troop died now imagine if he wouldve leveled up both that defense would've lost anyway it's good to know that say a lvl 4 troop can tie with a lvl4 and 5 defense

I'd like to point out the fact that lvl 1 dragons are broken or are capable of destroying early game/ lvl 1-4 air defense in a real scenario
lv 1 dragons are unlocked on th 7, where the air defense levels are already at least 4
