So the "beneficiary" is for my father in The Philippines? I am a US Citizen and trying to petition my father who is currently in The Philippines. So the next form we need to fill out is the I-824 and select option 1.d for USCIS to send my approved immigrant visa petition to the NVC. Maybe that's why it took over 1 year to get approved like you mentioned because of this mistake? Appreciate it very much. Thank you!
But what if my husband is overseas wouldn’t it be option b or c on the reason for request ? I need to know because I did make the mistake on the I-130 and now they are asking me to file I -824 and put a reason for request and I’m Not sure what one to choose I know I want them to send my approved papers to NVC but since my husband is in Pakistan should I put the NVC in USA or NVC in Pakistan ?

My mom is not here and I filed for her. So, I guess they're thinking she's here and she's going to do an adjustment but she's not here. I filled out 61.a - c. So, I messed up. Can I withdraw the I-130 and File it again? I wish I thought to go to youtube. I thought I was good. I don't want to make anymore mistakes.

My petition for my parent was retained 5/12/23. I sent the I-824 5/13/23. The package has been delivered. How do I find out which center my I-824 would be sent to? People have been saying they've been waiting 6+ months so I'm scared. I petitioned in 2020. The I-824 hasn't been uploaded and no text notification has been received. I read sometimes they send petitions to NVC even without the I-824. Any insights?

If you have I797C call the service center and them the error. Do not wait until they approved?

If the phone did not work send a letter to your service center explaining the error with form and attach a copy of your 797c

So why he is filing I-824. There is no way you can expedite this form.

Select 1.d . Send copy of I797 and to be in safe side send same document you send with i130. Just copies

Why was retained? Did USCIS asked you to file I-824?
