R.I.P. GM William Lombardy. The only person ever to win all his games in a world junior championship. I am so glad to have his autobio book with many annotated games and many stories. Also so great to have met him in person during a chess tournament in Philly. Very approachable and a very unappreciated GM.
Lombardy, who worked with Fischer. I didn’t know the guy is still alive. Great to find this video and see that the guy is still doing well. Thanks a lot!

6:30 But after 1.Nd4 black move 1...Q:c4 and win.
Yes. That was a mistake on my end. GM Lombardy was giving moves from the Black side and I threw in moves for white, but missed Qc4.
Okey. But his rules is very good.
Am I right in thinking Esserman was world champion at under 14. Sure I have seen a game of his in the Spanish where he won in less than 15 moves!
He's not listed as such, but he did have a number of national victories and has played a number of brilliancies.
sorry but mr. cameraman you were moving cam too much. making me dizzy
Yeah, with a chess game it's more important to see the position than to do "action camera" style.
very few likes for a very good video
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
