    • @stephenkey3137
      @stephenkey3137 4 роки тому +8

      Technically if I want to be smart reach out to companies first to make sure they are open for you to submit ideas to them. Then file a PPA then produce the sell sheet. Please recognize not all industries require intellectual property. That’s why reaching out to them first and understanding their process can be helpful.

    I have an idea for an invention that will sell out fast. You know the O Cedar mop and bucket with the spinner you step on to wring out the mop? We need a manual washing machine that works like that. If there is a cyber attack or major black out, how will we wash our clothes? And think of all the tiny homes that want to live off grid? I know this idea is a winner. We really only need the strainer/spinner device to fit over a bath tub and the bath tub can be the basin for the washing machine. You run the water, add detergent, soak the clothes than agitate the clothes with the spinner. There should be a way to raise or lower the spinner whether you need an agitator or strain to shake off the water. The, you can either run the shower over the clothes to rinse them or a water hose but then they will need to be spun again to throw off the excess water untill all the detergent and dirt have been rinsed out. I bet this will get your clothes leaner than an electric machine

    Now to my question: If I have an idea that is specific to a particular market, say the sleep industry, should I do my starting calls solely to; sleep industry stores, to big chain stores that sell those products among many other products (Walmart, Target, Kohls, etc) or both?
    And assuming you were to say both or the big chain stores option, from my question above. Who should I contact? A corporate office? Manufacturing?
    I hope these questions make sense?!

    • @rzlb5
      @rzlb5 4 роки тому +3

      Yeah, they will indeed steal our ideas. Hence the need to look for a company that is inventor friendly, which needs and accepts open innovation and they had built a reputation on it. They do not want to jeopardize their reputation and kill their hope of getting a home run ideas from outside inventors in the future.
      Sadly such a company is not as much. For companies who do not want to rely on open innovation, they are more likely to steal our ideas or want to work around it.

      Lol James! What's your beef? Stephen made a living licensing his ideas for products for decades, and now he helps other people. (And in fact he still works on meaningful inventing projects.) We have published more than 600 videos and 1,000 articles on how to license an idea. Maybe you missed this video: ua-cam.com/video/gxeuCPaGeHY/v-deo.html
