I have games all the time where I argue with my team that we should not give up and they eventually listen and we either win, or make a major comeback and nearly win, with everyone admitting it was a good idea not to give up.
The point is more in how you tell people they're wrong, rather than whether you tell them they're wrong or not. If you say "Wtf noobs, gonna report, stop afk, fucking feeder illidan" they just argue with you or ignore. If you say "Guys, don't quit. I know the chance is small, but we're only one level behind. If we can focus down jaina and keep x off our healer, we got this. Please raynor, help me do x, we'll win if we can pull it off together." then you have a way better chance of getting them un-tilted. ie. employ strategy and leadership skills, instead of flaming.
Also it matters how you manage yourself not getting tilted ie. you tell people not to give up in 20 games where you're behind, in 15 of those games people ignore you and flame you, do you
a) get tilted and now turn into an asshole yourself, thus no longer being able to win "lost" games by talking to your team like a leader, or
b) maintain composure and rise above
Of course I say all of this as an ideal - I'm not perfect myself and screw up these things and get tilted sometimes. But nonetheless, it's clear to me that we have more power over these "lost" games and the associated toxicity than we admit if we just say "oh no that never works" or some other analogous excuse for not working at being better.

it was a high risk high reward call, sadly it went wrong for Dignitas. I really liked how Dig played that last game and a 4th or 5th game would have been cool to watch.

Dig went greedy
Generalized game plans like this("you should always play as safe as possible") are the reason why some ppl are so bad in this game. Look at Digs comp: Stitches, Tyrande, Kerrigan, Medivh, Hanzo. All have terrible siege and push power against structures. All of them have strong early and at max half decent late game. Now look at Gen G's comp: Tyrael(Holy Arena), Tassadar(Twilight Archon), Raynor(Execute), Yrel(probably Unstoppable in these circumstances) and Deckard(Bottomless Flask) all have extreme power spikes(also at level 16) so Dig knows well while they can pick them off during rotations and defeat them with a talent advantage they are more than likely to lose a 20 vs 20 fight. It's right before 16 for Gen G. that they make this call and it was their big chance to win. Playing safe here leads to a controlled fight on same talent tier which Gen G. would most definitely win with their comp.
Sometimes you have to step away from the ordinary if your comp is extraordinary. And Dig's comp is only made for 1 goal: Blow them up early game, get a 2 level lead and get the game done before level 20.
It was a completely unnecessary risk. Dig got carried away. Frankly Wubby shit the bed a little, very uncharacteristic of him; if they were going to core they needed to kill Tass and Kerrigan needed to live; as soon as Kerri popped they needed to bug out.
Devilfish is the sane one here. If you figure everything he says and on top of that factor in the fact that they got curve-stomped the first two games, I would definitely say that it was the correct call. Won't persume to be knowledgeable enough about all their heroes to comment much about the execution though :)
Devilfish6666 at last a good observer.. it was an excellent call by dignitas coz if they go late game they will lose 20v20. Dig comp is strong early but very weak late game. Too bad gen.g defense was godlike and tyrande was basick attacking Raynors raider twice. Lol

Just watched 2 seasons of Heros CCL it's not as big as HGC was. But the play level is about the same and the whole thing is MUCH closer to the viewers and the community. After 2 years this brought back the excitment for game! :-)

2 absolutely brilliant games of HotS - 3rd one from this video and half a year ago - where Dignitas comebacked Gen.G on towers of doom, picking all 6 towers after doing -5.

@Jude’s Toy Jam I have Kerry lvl 163 so I know a lot what she's capable of and ultra charge does about 500dmg (maybe it bites immediately). it's insane what it can add to kombo. It turns you to Diablo that doesn't need walls and have 3x the dmg. Of course fights in QM are different :D

I prefer watching Hots then LoL because they actually play DIFFERENT MAPS and PEOPLE ACTAULLY USES DIFFERRNT CHARACTERS...imma LOL player shit i got tire seeing the sane map and same charcters online

I just immediately turned the stream off and rage-played the rest of the day.
That was painful. So painful. At least it’s the same in Pros when no one will attack the core. If Tyrande would have used her stuns to combo the core and Gen.G they would have won. Her stacks were pretty high. 😢😢

they could have maybe got that 3% if stitch popped bile the moment it went of cd
He was totally out of mana. He used it all when he threw the hook at the core a second before bile was on cd. Bile does about 75 damage per second at level 18 and he was alive for 4 seconds from cd so that's about 300 damage but with testing it looks like it persists another 3 seconds after death so about 525 damage. Hook at 18 does about 185 damage so its a 340 dps loss. at 16 minutes (how core scales not by level) the core has 20,400 health. so 3% is 612 health left. so it would've dropped down 1 maybe 2%. If he had enough mana for both they would've still been short about 87 damage. Only thing I'm not sure about is how the health is added to the core each minute cuz when the core hits the 16th minute it doesn't seem to get a health bump. It might be that the core doesn't get it while under attack, or doesn't get all 400 of it at the minute mark but rather like 6 health per second. Which may have meant the core was only 20,036 health so 3% is 601 health and they still come up short. All this is to say, it wouldn't have made a difference.

Heroes of the storm looks great! As a DotA 2 player for 17 years. I think people just needs to realize that DotA 2 is Toxic. And average 20 min game is great. Now i shifted to Starcraft 2.
I hope Heroes of the Storm gets another chance because when it was released it was expensive.

Specially makro was Hots strength and depth....In Lol you do recently just use teleport and do try to snack somebody on the map... so boring or one guy solo push all day

Dignitas should've played game 2 like they played in game 3 and vice versa. Game 2 they had no aggression but in game 3 they were overly aggressive.
Allan Deir well, that depends a lot on the map, dignitas in the first game they pick rotations, but that didn t enough because gen g could defend it and do a lot of wave preasure, second game dig played to have waveclear but they were countered by a blow up comp and the last game dig play a focus comp with double sup, but gen got lucky, a bit more and they lose that
