Thank you so so much for this amazing tutorial!! If i may give one suggestion for the next ones about the particles SOPs, you can use the Convert node instead of the Particles one and set it to convert to particles per point, it's way less resource intensive, but i tried and the result is the same :)
100% you can but for systems like this where I have a lot of fluid motion I prefer to initialise with the particle sop - it has far more control over the motion and result of the particles :)
This is SOO great thank you so much! i wonder if its possible to adjust the opacity of the feedback loop. I dont have a kinect, but set it up with an uv map. But when i put a level to the feddback loop it scales when i adjust it. Pretty new to this, probably something i dont understand yet .. if you have a tip for a fix i would really appreciate it. thanks for making this, such a great help!
Thank u! If you replaced the depth map, with a plain uv map instead then you’d be able to do this with a green screen. However, the final result would only be 2D. Another solution could be using AI to generate a depth map from a video, but I don’t think this can be done in real time yet :)
Halo!I think it's amazing! But I was wondering if this requires two kinect connections? And the top component is colored, maybe what kind of parameter change is it?
hey! Not sure if I mentioned in the video but you need one kinect but two connect nodes in touchdesigner. One set to depth colour and other to player index, we then multiply those two and follow the tutorial from there :)
Bro so much people gatekeepin knowledge. thanks for this 🤝

Replied to your pateron dm! Will try address this in the next tutorial
Insane work
could this effect work with just a video file as the input? i.e. a a dancer moving in front of a plate - green screen

this is mean bro 😎
I made a version that doesn't require a kienct! ua-cam.com/video/Eztrogwaq0w/v-deo.html
