My little guy will be 20 months old in a few days. I can’t even imagine their pain. We wanted to put him in swim lessons at 5-6 months of age, but Covid made us delay it for several months. He started the day he turned 13 months old. He never misses a lesson. I think of Emmy and her parents often. Just today, my husband and I took our baby to the pool with his grandparents, and we explained to them why we will NEVER let him use floaties.

I was just thinking the same thing. Who knows...maybe her drowning has educated millions of parents and grandparents.
How many kids do they have now? 10?!!! 😳
