I never really watched play through with no face cam because I like seeing reactions but I’m kind of just now realizing how much more immersive the game is when you’re not consistently glancing at the person playing the game. Plus for such a terrifying game your voice is so calming for my anxiety. I already know I’m going to adore this play through!

I work retail and the full moon thing is totally legit! People act weirder during and just after a full moon. I grew up in the Midwest and my sister and I went to camp almost every summer. I met my first “love” at summer camp!😂 I love that you called Mr. H. Deputy Dewey! I totally thought of “Scream” when I first saw David Arquette.

I work in mental health and the trope of moon phases affecting behaviours is definitely a thing.
I can't remember if there was much research behind it or not though.
I definitely think it's a thing, I even find it with just how people are online!

I grew up in southern California and I went to summer camp in 6th grade. They sent us out into a remote area in the woods, we stayed in cabins exactly like this (bunks and all), went on hikes, told scary stories around a camp fire, and had to attend various educational and nature oriented presentations. It's TOTALLY a thing in the States, but usually it's reserved for families that have the money to throw at it. They can be quite pricey.

I did the same thing as a kid! Except it was for some religious camp my grandparents made me go to. Me and a friend actually saw a bear there and no one believed us.

There's definitely something about the full moon.. growing up in the south you notice it a lot more nights are almost always dead except for certain holidays, weekends, & of course full moon not sure why it is but ppl here at least get to wildin' a lot more than usual.. I feel like it only affects the less intelligent ppl & ppl who're more primal for lack of a better term (like I mean they rely more on basic instincts) I hate to put it that way but it's how I noticed it, tbh.

I went to Historical summer camp 🤦♀️ since I was about 5 years old, I've been a member of 2 historical societies. (Complements of my grandmother whom also is) I used to dress in period costume and give tours etc. 33 yrs old now and I still get sucked into going to the sites and being part of the events.
I'm so glad you're playing this game! I adore "Until Dawn"... The other anthology games were lack luster though.
I've seen the first 6 chapters and I really hope that Freaks will be a thing in the game. Historically most that have been part of the shows are very kind and misunderstood people. I anticipate they (if in the game) will not be villains. (Than again my user name makes me biased haha) thank you for the content 🖤

I went to summer camp as a kid. I got horribly homesick but I kept going every year anyway. There's something magical about a sunset on a lake that kept me going back.
I would get SO homesick as a kid, literally if I stayed at a friends overnight. I can imagine i'd have cried a lot at summer camp lol

I went to summer camp every summer and even worked there when turned 18... now my 12 and 9 year olds are off to camp next week for a week! Ahhhh can't wait! It's great for them to experience the great outdoors! 👍

I've actually went to summer camp when I was 12 (Spain), but it wasn't a fun experience. It was only a week, and years later I went to another summer camp and it was awesome. Here they're pretty commn, especially for kids between 7 and 12 yo.

@@MadMorphI'm about half way through the video now, and I'm glad you didn't kill the spider on the grounds it's already outside. The character essentially walked into the spider's garden, picked up its new house, scared the living daylights out of it, then contemplated killing it. Imagine your were in the kitchen by the kettle, and suddenly your house moves, there's screaming, and now you're running from a giant boot out of nowhere 😂
I went to one summer camp that you’d sleep away at for 5 or 6 years in a row. It was in southern IL in the middle of the woods down there. I absolutely loved it - hence why I went back to often! I learned a lot of skills like kayaking, fire starting, archery and did a lot of fun things too like hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Everyday was action-packed! My last year I did a two week backpacking trip around the woods with two counselors and two other campers. We pitched tents or found a place to camp every night, cooked our own food by starting our fires, and the views were amazing! I really miss it actually!
That honestly sounds great!? I'd probably have got super homesick and been terrified as a child doing all that but I bet it's a great experience and something to look back on if you have a good time!

I just just about to start watching this but Until Dawn was hands down own of my favourite games to play (ended up playing the whole game in one sitting at some friends party). I'm dying to watch, but I also know it's best to play first to get the full experience

Rewatching this episode to see something but you mentioned the sweater likely being too hot. In the forest it can be much cooler than you’d think it’s be during summer. Also you kinda caught it later on but councilors tend to be older teens who watch the younger ones. Ages can range on the campers from 8ish but usually are a bit older like 10 plus at the younger side of things. Probably 12-16 as campers and 17-18 as the councilors. But it’s been a long time since I was a teen so who knows.

I went to camp gilmont once as a camper once as an intern my nurse payed for it
I absolutely would have gone to the motel IF I knew that she never got in contact with Mr. Hackett, and had left a message instead. If I thought they had talked and agreed to come earlier, I would have not gone to the motel. If I had shown up and learned she never talked to anybody, I would leave and go to the motel.
